- Why do I have a sneaking suspicion fewer people will watch this video? Because it goes against everything you read on Google and other Social Media outlets about trading. 'Become a millionaire in 3 weeks with a $2,000 account." That's garbage. It's preying on your EMOTIONS, not REALITY. Trading is hard and takes PATIENCE, DISCIPLINE and TIME to succeed. In today's lecture I drill down to 2', 5' and 15' charts to show you how 'waiting' for a better entry or more confirmation will make you a more profitable trader.

I have found that for me , I use a higher time frame to get away from the crazy 2 and 5 minute chats. I use 10 and 15. Yes you need more patience. But less stop running.

Great stuff as always! Most of the starting daytraders are too agressive with the entries in the open and loose money because of the stops right under 1st candle LOD. I also am still struggling with this, but got it better lately after 1,5 year trading. Thanks Jared pointing this out so good!

pre-market chart is more important than a lot of people take into consideration, along with the other key factors of course. but in my experience the cleanest pre-market chart will always have play, just look for your entry.
I recently switched to the 5 minute chart and it's showing me so much detail about the volume behavior. I'm seeing the big spikes which I assume are the institutions and the stock usually follows that direction after those spikes, but sometimes I see MASSIVE spikes and the stock goes in the OPPOSITE direction by a LARGE range. I'm not sure what's going on in those cases.

The 84% play if that is really the case, then don't even take the first trigger entry, skip it, then size in 30% when it hits the 84% entry point, and if it drops average in another three times, then it will be the 99% accuracy play,

Hey Jared, what’s your mentality after you get stopped out initially and then upon re-entering using the 84% rule you get stopped out again. Would you use the 84% rule to the 84% rule?

24:29 he actually says sometimes the 84% entries get ‘shaken’ (stopped out) - as @SupaMan said, that’s the 16% that don’t work. ;)

Why not wait for a trend to form as confirmation of a good gap. Jump in later, long over a 200ma and short under with a bias confirm on h4? Tight ranges up/down catching a trend in the middle?

Been at this for months, never giving up, and getting a bit demoralized how slow progress is. I know I am growing and learning but I wish I could at least show for it a bit. Not giving up either way

The market for the past little while has been an extremely tough market to learn in. According to a lot of Discords, its been one of the worst for trading. So if you can be consistantly profitable in this market, even if its small amounts, you're doing amazing.

@@bryanporter8038 💯 percent. I know that alot of people have had to focus more of trading credit spreads as the traditional day trading has become so choppy. It's the hardest time to make a success of trading (even for the experienced).
I been at it for 7 years. went from stocks to currencies, opened my own business totally unrelated to trading, came back to trading two years ago, and just recently found my consistent edge. shit takes time

Its easy to read the chart when its done playing out
It seems most of the examples you showed are telling the trader to enter where he would put his stop. You want to enter at 35, and you'll put your stop at 33.8? Try an entry at 33.8.
