    Awesome job on this one. Warped perspective and fish eye are a beast! I love the pops of color on the mirror and the contrast of grayscale archimedes against the vibrancy of the mirror.
    And he does look a little excited about the romans.

      Thanks so much! I think this year will be pushing past realism into more stylistic things so I’m very glad it worked out!

    I remember the siege of Syracuse - because I was there - and I can tell you that this piece is super-accurate. Well done. The mirror reflection is cool.

    Wow, this is a ridiculously ambitious project, and you nailed it! I'm not sure that I have the courage to attempt painting a mirror. I've never even considered that as a possibility on a miniature. Very nice work!

      I’d been thinking the same for ages, but I figure if it goes horribly wrong that’s probably just as good a video 🤣
      Always give it a go, the worst that can happen is you have to repaint it!
