A Moment with Leo and Max

JJ was having a moment with Max with his arm around him, talking softly to him while they all looked out the window. I had to hurry quietly to get the camera and, of course, change the battery pack. But, I was still able to capture this wonderful moment with the boys ... ALL the boys.
JJ is still learning respect and the difference in temperaments between Leo and Max. But for a three year old, I think he's doing pretty good and Leo is beginning to respond in kind. Leo no longer scurries away whenever JJ comes hear but he does skitter off if he doesn't like the attention he's getting from JJ. Like in this moment, JJ is trying to get Leo to kiss him. The stare down IS NOT AGGRESSIVE, but this is all he has to do to get a kiss from Max. Look at him and put his face nearby. This was a good lesson for JJ to understand that Leo is very different from Max. JJ has learned to approach Leo more quietly, whereas with Max he can just climb right on top of him, put his Hot Wheels on his back, etc. JJ has a long way to go but he is learning and we are being very careful to observe and intervene when necessary. So glad that Leo and Max are as different as they are and that both are as patient as they can be to JJs learning curve. We are truly blessed all around!
