Johnny Ace impressions are like Randy Savage impersonations... unless you have lived on the moon for 50 years, any mug can do one. his Harley impersonation is poor, and changes about 4 times across the video.
I wrestled for Harley and was at that camp. If kenny doesn't remember we had some opening drills to determine everyone's skill level. And he ended up busting the nose of another wrestler on a leap frog. So he was labeled as a guy who was "wreckless" and needed to work on the basics.
This is so hilarious. Not only that Kenny Omega is my alltime favorite and I almost fainted several times but also that I love hearing stories like that. And I (a freaking German) didn´t have any problems to understand what he's talking about and that speaks for itself.

Finally an interview where someone is not throwing Johnny Ace under a bus. It is so lazy to blame Ace for everything wrong in Wrestling, but the man is a legend in the Wrestling biz and paid his dues. So much respect to Johnny Ace

Yeah, just listened to the full story of this on Cornette's Drive Thru, one of the trainers at that camp sent Jim an email describing how a young and obviously self-taught Omega botched a simple series twenty guys before him had done decently, breaking the other guys nose. Kenny then got pissed because Harley sent him to the Beginners Class, because like so many other indie guys Kenny thought he was a skilled worker because he could throw a pretty dropkick. And now here Kenny is, mocking a legend whose worst day was better than his entire career

Then he was sloppy and reckless with limited understanding of the fundamentals, botching a basic drill that he literally watched 20 guys do right before him. Guys like Race, real veteran trainers, focus on the fundamentals, the basics, but indie darlings like Omega were more concerned with the flashy stuff, they want to start off flying when they should be learning to walk. Today Omega's gotten smoother with experience but his fundamentals are still mediocre, more hype than substance, and his attitude is still that of a prima-donna
