What a interesting color match you did! At first I thought it could be weird but when I saw the final look with the top makes more sense and looks very stunning, I loved!
Amazing and clear! I'm planning to make a form fitting satin dress with an asymmetrical trumpet bottom. As I am new to sewing, I'm doing smaller projects before I start this one. I probably will not tackle this for another 3 months, but if it works out, I'll have you to thank for helping me realize my dream dress! :D
Wow! Love it!! Great outtake! That shot for the outfit was dreamy ^^ I love the styling too. Thanks for explaining the steps. I love trumpet skirts. They’re my fave along with box pleats!
You must be in my head! I just sketched a dress with a fluttery assymetrical hem the other day. I have been trying to figure out how to get the flutter part right...Thank you
Omg I love it! There was one by Milly for $200-300 in a solid navy and it looked like a million bucks. Never realized it was just an asymmetrical trumpet
Daniela Tabois, take a look at tom ford skirts fall 2020, that is why i am here, adding ruffles but with a slip up front. look at his preorder store online, but also his fashion show one.
Love your site/been binge watching/ getting ideas to update entire 😳 wardrobe after losing weight. (yeah!) BTW - it's "How To Sew >AN< >Asymmetrical< Trumpet Skirt" Just want you to look your best. ❤️
I need to make my daughter a figure skating skirt, basically just the flounce though. And to make it even more brain-hurting.... the fabric has a scalloped edge which she wants as the hem. My first attempt had the short side folding inwards rather than being flouncy. I will try again using your method. Hope I have enough fabric left! If not, I'll do it in two parts like your skirt
I am learning alot.. thank you. Have a question as i am a beginner how did you finish attaching the liner to the zipper.. i heard you saying on one side you will use a hand sewing.. the finishing is neat.. i can't figure it out how you finished attaching the zipper and the liner.. please help
i would appreciate so much if you told me how much of the red fabric and how much of the black fabric? thank you so much !!! this was such a great video and the skirt looked awesome
Luci Bray I think she said it was a yard of each in the beginning of the video. She said “a yard” so I’m guessing she meant a yard of each one. I could be wrong though.
Nice video but had not realised the flounce highest was at the side until you put it on so if you had shown it on at the start also would have helped me. I was pretty confused why you were saying front and back not left snd right
Just the right video i wanted evryone is making circle, only you showed how to cut an asymmetrical one thank god now i can finally practice
You just make sewing look so easy and enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your talent with us, Daniela.
True
