Fantastic! Finally a single handheld device with all the control options required to play just about any retro Atari game, as well as modern remakes, and emulation.
Atari needs a win and I am rooting for them. I had an Atari 26oo as a kid. My grandpa made me a custom cart holder. That was decades ago and I miss both.
@@yandman26 Technically it's MyArcade partnering with Atari to make this handheld, but at the end of the day most people will simply view it as an Atari product.
@@yandman26Yes it is, It's Atari partnering with MyArcade to make this handheld, and from the looks of it this is probably going to be the best piece of hardware they have put out since the VCS in 2020.
Right? And yet I’ve just recently watched a video whining about Switch and how handheld gaming devices are dead since Switch is something you cannot put in a pocket. Like bro, Switch is literally Nintendo’s best selling console.
Im laughing at these comments.... just use a steam deck 😂 oh I really wish my steam deck would work for all these games sadly it cant. Also at this price having a dedicated system for these old games with proper controller support like the numeric pad will be great. I could see this expanding to other game platforms that can make use of th pad. Also the trackball & spinner for those obscure arcades that dont get proper support well at least not in a handheld. Yeah totally grabbing this bad boy.
At first i was skeptical but the controls look on point and the price, dude , that is amazing , the best handheld in the CES , all the others have been so disappointing
@@adonian but he also didn't imply that it had emulators regarding those platforms on it. I do see your point and I'm hopeful for that but who knows until it comes out? Either way, I'm getting one. There's no doubt about that
Huh? Why is everyone calling this Atari? This isn't an Atari product. Its 'My Arcade'... selling another budget console, like the GameStation Pro, licensing atari games. Not like the "actual" Atari company is any way the "real" Atari... all just IPs at this point. But for $149 it could be pretty cool.
Atari was formed in 1972 and SOLD to Warner in 1976- before any Atari console was ever made anyway.. you are just repeating garbage you heard from some other person who doesn't know what they are talking about either.
Should have put the pinball buttons so the screen could flip vertically. Also not sure how the spinner will work with hand placement. It's not exciting, but a step in a decent direction.
I just have 0 idea why anyone would get this over a steam deck or rog ally? Like they’re priced pretty similarly with the competition offering way better products. Lmao I just emulate all the atari games on my deck anyways
@@julianojosoa2197 The fact that you could not answer my question and made a useless judgement means that you have no idea what the hell is this nonsense all about. (I will give you a pass on that single digit IQ)
Amazing how desperate steam fanboys are for validation trying to compare their failure of a portable (sold far less than the Wii U for the same time frame) to other completely different machine. Also, I bet the battery life of the Gamestation Go would blow the steam deck out of the water.

For $150 this could be a stocking stuffer to myself -- how do I find out what games are included?
"Firmware updates... wink wink"
SOLD!
I only buy hardware for the firmware updates.
@@RikoRik33 wink wink is all I need to know
🤫
I love how he threw that in there.
Need to know what kind of CPU is running under the hood
Hoping this is the start of something new and beautiful for atari
No. We can't let them get away with the Jaguar.
For myarcade*
Lol a $150 handheld that can only play Atari is a dumb idea. I can buy a handheld for half that price that can play way more systems
This isn't Atari.
Doubt it

@MrFernandes97 Licensed. It's built and created by My Arcade. ATARI did not build this.
@@yandman26 built to Atari's specifications. Notice the Trakball™, spinner, and number pad!
The “wink, wink” was my favorite part of this review 😆. I’m def ganna get one for $150 🤟🏻
The price 😮, the 😉 😉, and the “it does a lot of things” definitely sold it for me 🎉🎉🎉
$149. That seems cheap. looks amazing.
As an Atari user for over 45 years. This warms my heart knowing Atari are still going.❤️
149? That's cheap. Even for an emulator machine.
Were's definitely reaching the 'Golden age' of handhelds.
I can't go back hunched over a desk or be only stationary to a tv.
Right? And yet I’ve just recently watched a video whining about Switch and how handheld gaming devices are dead since Switch is something you cannot put in a pocket. Like bro, Switch is literally Nintendo’s best selling console.
Dude, this is actually cool!! Right on, Atari! Let's goooo!!!
Atari just won't quit😂
I heard they operates hotels as well...
Atari holds up stronger than Sega
What's the cpu for the Gamestation Go? Wink, wink.
No Lynx or Jaguar?
I'm hope yes.
Since it have the numpad I'm guessing that this will run jaguar games( can be completely wrong tho)
So if this is running the recharge games I think it's on x86 and a Linux UI
Lol "wink wink"
This too was my response
For roms wink wink?
Wow a 7"screen! Honestly I was expecting the price to be north of $200. The Atari 2600 was my first console so I'll definitely be picking this up.
What about atari lynx and jaguar games!
He did 😉 😉👍
@adonian so there will be those games on there?
@BlueReverse Doubt it. he was hinting at the ability to hack it with firmware updates. like the snes mini, and psone mini.

Tru dat. This is an actual "retro" handheld.
I hope this works out, I would love one!
It's a lot bigger than I thought, really hyped for this ✌️🕹
Bro literally said wink wink why would he even ask about emulation
no jaguar games it seems ? :/ this console could have been the opportunity to have ALL Atari consoles into 1, inc the Lynx and the Jag
Looks great!!!
Super excited to get this
Would be great for NGage emulation if it runs android base
atari should seriously bring back godzilla destroy all monsters and somehow make it online lol
are they going to be able to buy more recharged games on this or is it going to just have a menu with a small set atari games on it?
This must have a mobile x64 CPU of some kind in order to run modern PC games like Balls of Steel and Centipede Recharged.
Does it have shaders?
Atari got more heart than sega
So no Jaguar or linx included?
At first i was skeptical but the controls look on point and the price, dude , that is amazing , the best handheld in the CES , all the others have been so disappointing
micro sd slot?
I want one, great price.
No Atari 800XL (or XE as a console), and no Atari Lynx support? :(
saranno inclusi titoli intellivision?
0:46 "firmware updates" (wink wink)
Aww so Atari is doing this FOR THE PEOPLE. Respect 😂
What games are all included
I don't get it, will they make new games for it?
The gamestation support atari jaguar games ? Please ! Say me yes !
And you know what for that price I am definitely getting it
I might buy this thing.
But no Lynx, Jaguar, Intellivision or Coleco?

@@krazproductions he's not allowed to imply because emulators are still a grey area.
how many games require that numpad ?
Jaguar games used the number pad, so I’m pretty confident that with the firmware updates 😉 😉. It’ll most likely do Jaguar games as ROMS.
5200 had a numpad which is one of the officially included systems he listed
I will buy it for the “wink wink”

I'm legitimately buying one just because of the hilarious wink wink
It has a track ball and numpad.
I am getting pc ideas but thatz just wishful thinking. Wink wink.
I'm all in. Time to support the granddaddy of them all.
I'll be interested to see Capcom and Namco's reaction to "wink wink" on their related products.
Wow great price 😮
Ask them why they did not pa to update BigPEmu for this so it could have Jaguar, I bet you won't ask Atari that...
150 bucks that’s an amazing price.
Can't wait to see this on the TikTok shop with pokemon preloaded on it.

Are new Capcom and Namco games coming to this device?
"Firmware updates" riiiight lol
The dude just deflected the question if it’s using emulators or something else…
It's obviously running emulators.
Q3, though? That's depressing.
You have a surprisingly low bar for depression. 😆
Looks like its running emulation station. Way to big though.
How do play arcade games without joystick?? Dpad sucks for many many arcade games.
7" screen but is it IPS or the type of low quality screens used in previous MyArcades?
Just take my $$

$149? Better be hackable from day one

I loved the 2600 in the early 80s and sometime i play it on anbernick handheld.... my question is, why does this exist and why does it look so cheap?
Atari will tank, this product doesn't belong in this universe. There are a plethora of sub $100 handhelds that will consume this.
Oh god
Why would i buy this over the MSI Claw or Acer handhelds.
The fact that you have to ask means that you are clearly not their target audience.

$150 for a device with a non-OCA laminated screen 😭

Another retrozzz garbage console
But why? Emulation exists.
Not for the PC games like Centipede Recharged.
