Thank you for stopping by my channel 😍. My family was very supportive and I wasn’t concerned about it because I have family members who have married non-Congolese and growing up there was never discussions or an spoken rules on who to marry. We have always been very open. When my husband and I started dating I was more concerned about his family accepting me but once I met them I felt at home 💯. So I’d say it has been a blessing cause that was not a battle or mountain we had to overcome all in the name of culture, traditions and tribes. Don’t get me wrong, time to time I’d hear some whispers here and there from some people (non family members) about Nigerians but I didn’t let that bother me cause I knew who I was marrying. There are good and bad apples everywhere ( Nigerian/Congolese). And if your family loves you they will support your decision cause you didn’t make it likely 😊😊

As a Congolese woman, with a Congolese nationality married to a Nigerian man can I have my name on the papers regarding a land property bought in Nigeria to build a house?

I'm not sure of the rules and regulations lol, but I think there's always a way. If you and your husband wants to buy property and have your name on it why not!? I think it's just best to use proper channels so to not get scammed and this can happen anywhere in the world not just Africa.
