Coming from a Native American culture, I found this amazing! So many good traditions, such rich cultural heritage, so much joy. Thank you for posting this, much appreciated.
I love it too!
I’m Native American too and will be marrying a Congolese man 🧡
Thank you
I live in California, and I have never seen an African wedding, So Gorgeous, the bride and the beautiful ladies. What joyous customs. I loved it. ❤️🥳
You’re welcome dear. Do you care to see more?
@@tochichita2357 yes, please show us more! The U.S. is careful to do all they can to keep us the African Diaspora people in the dark regarding our true culture! Thank you for sharing with us, we're trying to learn more about where we truly come from (Africa), and we're most gracious for the information you provide!🙏🏾

It's heartbreaking that we, the ancestors of the slaves in the USA, missed out on our culture, the African culture (specifically those countries where the slave trade was dominant). We have been subject to the culture of the world, and what we had was stripped from us during the Atlantic Slave Trade. We must, as a people, the brown people, lift each other and teach each other the things we do not know, and do it with pride. Ase, ase, ase
Wish I had a goddess like you in my life.
AMEN
Bellazane, You are so right. We in America has list so much of our heritage and culture. This is absolutely beautiful celebration. I love the way the bride and groom, and their families salute each other. The dancing is wonderful, the gowns, magnificent! I pray for the couple and their families.
@@LucienMavor thank you for the regard and be blessed.
@@layadee2007 Thank you for you reply and confirmation. It is refreshing to have like minds. Be blessed
Even without the dance, music, and love flowing the colors were a celebration all by themselves. I loved how each of the ashoebi girls each had her own gorgeous gown in the signature color. Happiness to watch!
This feels like a REAL NIGERIAN MOVIE. I'm in love with the Igbo culture over again. Amazing video coverage and editing 👌🏾👌🏾
Baby baby girl baby love love baby baby girl miss you
Watching this gives me great joy & sorrow. Joy for the Families and sorrow because being a African American we here missed so much. But I am greatful we never lost the Spirit of who we are and where our Ancestors came from, Africa👑. To this day when we come together as each Family member arrives we clap & cheer at the sight of loved ones. 2021 we celebrate our 65th year of consecutive Family Union💜👑💜 Thank God for the Ancestors for making sure we stayed together bound by love💯 And thanks for sharing QueenSister👑ViiiViii
Beautiful people, check! Beautiful setting, check! Beautiful attire, check! Beautiful culture, check! What's not to like? Nigeria you take the cake when in comes to events.

Nigerians do such fantastic weddings, our American weddings are so boring in comparison. The attire of the participants is so royal, I salute all of you Kings and Queens!
Traditional African Weddings are so amazingly beautiful compared to a regular basic white wedding dress and saying (I Do).
I have just witnessed a beautiful wedding and I truly wish them nothing but the best in life.
I live in the US and my sister recently marrired someone from Nigeria ! The plan is to travel there to have a traditional Nigerian wedding for Mr. and Mrs.Okoro but after watching this I need take up running daily to be able to keep it with this celebration! 😊🍾🍾🍾🍾🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂 Congrats to the new couple!
Welcome.
Simply amusing “my sister recently married someone from Nigeria!”

SO BEAUTIFUL! I have lots of Nigerian friends and I also work with a lot of them out here in Seattle. They’re beautiful people. Made me cry when the moms came out and dancing. Happy tears. Congratulations to the both of u. What a beautiful story. U gotta get your baby because if u don’t, somebody else is going to and it’s going to be too late. Look at y’all now! YASSSSS!!!! Enjoy!!!!!
This all feels so familiar. i cried. i wish that we had these types of traditions in the U.S. Such a beautiful ceremony. May God bless this union 🙏🏽
My family’s from Chile. I was invited to my first Nigerian birthday party. I never had so much in my life. Beautiful music dancing food. Amazing. Sending you much love. Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️
Ur so lovely
Beautiful
I was part of the catering crew in the U.K. for a Nigerian wedding. It was one of the most delightful experiences. 🥰
Thanks for posting this stunning event. The bride must lose 10-20 pounds on the big day! I've only been to one African wedding and it was in the US. That was the most fun and exciting wedding I've ever attended! Much like that one, I loved the music, the dancing, the pure shouts for joy, the FOOD and FOOD (you get the picture), the fashion parade, the respect for the mothers and the aunties! Loved all of it! Makes me even more proud to part of the African diaspora to have such beautiful traditions. All the best to Adamara and Uche! God bless you and your future endeavors!
So beautiful. I wish we African Americans knew more about our ancestrial wedding traditions.
You can know if you want sis. Just ask
@Ben Yosep I believe her question is not too complicated right?. You may know know which country you originated from using ancestral DNA test.

When she said: "like this video, cos I'm going through a lot", I felt her struggle inside that car 😂😂😂
It was so beautiful the whole entire event. It was absolutely gorgeous. I like all the colors and feathers was so beautiful. We don't have weddings like that in the United States. I love the color the ladies had on I don't know if it was green or like a teal blue but it was gorgeous. I also like the fans they had with the feathers that was unique & beautiful
New traditions for me. I thoroughly enjoyed watching and learning. Cheers! God bless the couple.
