How does this person make me cry, laugh and then cry again? To be honest, I've never felt more connected with a person ever before. Not like this. Because I didn't cry because Jensen was getting teary-eyed, I cried because of that girl who sat there for friggin' 50 hours to help people not yet strong enough to help themselves. That deserves a major shout-out! And then Jensen made me giggle, 'cuss seriously, he's a really funny guy. And then he said that we weren't supposed to exist, but we friggin' do!! And I love how he, how they all think this is so important. Because really, I'm here thanks to SPN fans supporting me. So for now I'm taking this opportunity to say, you guys mean a shit ton to me to XX
As a dispatcher I can completely relate to the struggles of dealing with people who need help. This made me cry. It's really beautiful how amazing they are as people (I mean Jared too even though he's not in this video). I really appreciate everything you guys are doing for everyone. Thank you for being amazing humans and wonderful role models and for inspiring so many. Please don't ever change.
I know this is an old post, however. Dispatchers are too often overlooked in the profession. People see the Police officers, the EMT's, and the firefighter dealing with such stress and tragedy but we rarely stop to think about the call that came in that the dispatchers or call-takers have taken. We don't think about the emotional toll on them, including not always knowing the outcome of the situation. While dispatchers are not physically a first responder, they are most often the first interactions and they have to hear and deal with sometimes highly emotional people in dire situations knowing that they can't help, and sometimes knowing that help won't be there soon enough. Know that there are people who value you as much as our physical first responders and know your true value.
I legit did not know that IMAlive was related to SPN. I have it bookmarked because it was the first crisis chat I'd seen and I hate talking on the phone, so a chat service was something I needed to remember. It's even more special to me now knowing that the spn family is involved.
I just want to say thank you to everyone involved in these campains and have helped people including me without you guys i wouldnt be here and to anyone going through anything like this remember you are not alone and dont be embarrassed to cry or speak to a friend about your struggles trust me from someone who grew up being told crying is weak it is 100% incorrect crying makes you the strong one for being able to show ypur emotions Thanks again spn family #alwayskeepfighting Have a great day
You are a hotline responder Vesna? Wow, thank you so much for taking your time to help other people. You are so needed, you are such a wonderful person. You are a true angel to me :)
omg this is why i love jensen and jared (im a sammy girl all the way tho) but they are two of the most beautiful inside and out, and the most caring, compassionate people on this planet. i just love them, and all the values of goodness they represent.
I love what all these guys have done for all of the fandom and those that need the help. I have bought a few of the t shirts for my friends and family for the AKF campaign and i think its a great idea.
BlueBell basically the supernatural family set up a hotline because there were rhousands of fans who mentioned that they had severe mental illnesses and had felt suicidal thoughts. after months of work they finally got it up and running and the one girl they keep referring to has spent over 50 hours on the phone to different fans helping them - either just talking, listening or giving advice. it is incredible what they are doing.
@@maddie7202 agreed what they do has helped so many people i just love these people so much and its really great to know that there is somone out there that is willing to help
