I always am waiting for the next video I’ve been raising my grandson on my own now since my wife passed away in dec 22.
I work then come home and feed the 12 y/o recycle bin and hang out with him until he goes to bed and then most nights it’s videos til I go to bed .

@@sjfk1306 same. Clearly none of these commenters have had a vehicle towed to a shop with an initial quote. And I say that as a former automotive repair shop owner and mechanic. Sometimes customers are scared and have the shop call and pay for them just to get the car to the business or their home.

Jeff and Kristen, you know, my dad was a mechanic, initially automotive but eventually on large oil-hauling vehicles, and everything like that. There were five of us children, but we darned well knew that you DON'T jump on EVEN NEAR a jacked-up vehicle. There's just no excuse for that kind of behavior. May God bless you and yours always. My high school colors were red and white, and I made a pieced log cabin quilt from different shades of red and white tone-on-tone fabric. I collected the different shades of that quilt for three years before I started cutting the logs!

Hey guys, along with passive LED lighting have you considered even more passive passive lighting? As a motorcycle rider in a major city, I wanted to be noticed. I started putting Hyper-Reflective decals on my helmets. I fell in love with them and put them on my vehicles in strategic areas.
I noticed Ron Pratt uses strips inside his toolbox doors to get noticed, and so people see his door is open. You guys are always on these tight dark roads. It's easy enough to stick strips or shapes, using 3m, on the edges of Big Red so she stands out. Congrats on the new truck. Hope she serves you well.

Jeff, on my truck I always painted the boom end, hooks the same color as the levers. It looked like both of the hooks were painted yellow. It took any confusion out of which side I was moving. The new truck looks fantastic. It always took a while for me to find my favorite spot for stuff. Invest in an air ride seat for the passenger. The co-pilot will love you forever. Great video! I look forward to the next one. I haven't missed any. My size is a 2x

You need to know who gave you permission to leave a disabled vehicle on someone's property...and if that person has the authority to give you permission. It sounds like it's on public property, since the police called for the tow --- and that means whoever gave permission likely didn't have the authority.

Here's a thought, if you experience an issue in a strange town and someone tells you can park someplace, get their name and a number!! Also, put a note in the front window shield with your contact information for the local police! Simple! Always cover your a**! It may not work, but you did make the attempt to let people know how to contact you.
I work weddings/events, have to park in some incorrect locations. But I have a bright colored note so I can be contacted if needed. Have never had an issue as of yet ... Knock on wood. LOL!!

How do you “park” your vehicle like that and leave it in a parking lot knowing full well that you aren’t supposed to do so, yet you don’t get verifiable information as to who supposedly gave you permission to do so?
Her excuse for not having the lady’s name was that the mystery lady didn’t say her name. Then *ASK* for it. Along with a phone number/contact information as you said.
Hell it wouldn’t be a bad idea to connect the non emergency number of the local PD to let them know the situation and that such and such person gave you the green light to stay there.
As you said it may not always work, but cover your ass.
