I did, it moves the camera but it doesn't tilt the view like he did, and I remember many people saying they wish this feature was in EU4
unless it was added in a newer version of the game
I haven't tried it out myself but maybe he used 'enable_game_controller'.

You need a controller, once you have that in console type "enable_game_controller" and you can control the camera

You can check out the map mode for province resources. Click a province, and all colonies that have the same resource will light up.
Fitting that what if the Sahara Desert was green ended up green under Portugal.
You should try the mod "Maxo's New Shattered".It splits the world into a ton of tiny nations.

I once had a crazy game where I was playing as transoxiana and the ottomans kicked the bucket early and was eaten up by Byzantium, Georgia and surprisingly the Knights. Mamelukes didn't have much new territory from the ottomans but they did have the ability to survive the ottoman yoke and they too went into Australia and Indonesia. That game was crazy, the poles even stole Constantinople.

Well there is a theory that the Sahara had a lot of rain and that it was actually green about 5000 years ago and there were huge cities(theoretically) and when it stopped raining the civilisation collapsed but it’s just speculation

Drew if you ever want to look for gold just click the trade goods map mode, locate a gold province, and then click it. You should be able to see where all the gold is.
Also I’d love a video on buffing Iceland’s Development/Provinces count to see if they aren’t completely useless.

You should reform the Göktürks in EU4. They were basically the Turkec version of the Mongol Empire except being cooler since they existed before 1000.
One of my more recent saves, mamluks colonized australia, got kicked out of Eurasia, and then after I kicked them out of Australia they went to alaska. In that save as well the Ottomans colonized California and hawaii
Fun fact the Sahara was much greener than today even as late as 5000 years ago, the Egyptians likely lived in a very different Looking Nile Valley
With no desert, the Amazon would deplete it's resources, and Atlantic hurricanes would be far stronger for longer

It has to be desert near Timbuktu because then the song wouldn't make sense. If the game changed that, it would create a temporal vortex and multiple new timelines.
