- Rory Van Vliet demonstrates how to do the leg drag pass giving you both the theory behind the pass and the actual steps to do it the most efficient way. This is from www.grappleart..., the newest instructional from Grapplearts in which Rory and Stephan Kesting show you how to systematically shut down and counter all the most powerful and most popular guard passes your opponents will use to try and pass your guard.
I
Very good details....overall a great video...
Some good deets in this video. Nice one.
Thank you!
By the way I like that Bat-man symbol on the back of Stephan´s Gi.
this is my #1 standing guard pass. I'm still tossing the legs, but I will actually try to fake guys out by trying to throw to the left (just for instance), then suddenly throwing to the right. The guys tend to reposition themselves to defend that fake out and it makes it easier to get around the other side.
Of course, actually grabbing someone's ankles/feet/gi pants is the real problem, at least once they get wise to it.
Hi Stephan are theses new DVD'S going to be in the app.?
Yes, hopefully within a couple of weeks. Right now we are doing a huge under-the-hood update on the app so that it stays current with the changes in the operating systems (which takes a lot of time and $$) but as soon as that's done the new modules will be released
Exelente😊
Nice stache bro
🤜
With that beard I certainly don´t hope that Stephan begins to behave like Paul Teutul. ;)
lol even though the dude was calling him Stephan the entire time, I did not recognize him with that mustache.
Funkly
Movember has gone. Grow a beard
please ONLY show PURE no gi techniques, for people shouldn't have to rely on a weapon in what's supposed to be weaponless combat, this was mostly no gi but still EXTREMELY irritating to see the instructor grab the collar at the end...
Chill out. This video is about the sport of bjj, not about pure self-defense.
@@jamesvillamor1842 not to mention the fact that most people wear clothes most of the time, which makes training gi grips relevant for self defense.
@@jiujitsustudent604 What do you wanna bet the original commenter doesn't even train. Well, maybe he trains Krav-Maga.
