Great vids, I'd love to learn more about General John Schofield. How pivotal was his role in these two victories for the Union? Does he deserve more recognition than he seems to get? What was he doing during these battles? What kind of general was he?

I can't get over why the generals told their soldier to back away from pike and camp???? Were they that exhausted?
