The m.2 is particularlyfucking stupid. I seen some actually really neat, cool, and useful tools mixed up in there with some dumb or not useful things (the portable AC and wallet bag comes to mind). But the M.2 somehow manages to take every single thing about external storage and makes it worse, because it's clearly using some type of SATA SSD and is not using an actual NVMe drive as a real NVMe would be capable of getting super high speeds off an NVMe port. Idk at first I thought it might be an mSATA and that they was just getting rid of old surplus I'd h ok nevermind 16:21 it is an actual m.2 device at least however that commercial with the guy's hair being blown by a fan lol is this the fucking 1990s? What a stupid piece of shit. So it manages to at once be much bulkier than a standard NVMe somehow (despite a smaller form factor) while having this huge fan on it, there are literally better cases for NVMe drives for far cheaper. It doesn't even look like it has DRAM cache which would actually make it slightly slower and more unreliable. A ton of technology is geared toward the kind of idiots who buy Apple products and know literally not one single thing about the technology inside their devices and therefore neither know how badly they are getting scammed nor how inferior and overpriced the technology inside, nor how to fix it or do anything with it. The kind of person to buy that is the kind of person to unironically own a chromebook or iCrap laptop and not care they can't fix anything or not care the SSD and RAM is soldered to the board.
