What I find interesting is that Jen has a plausible explanation for everything. I wish they had questioned her about all the financial inconsistencies. $350. For Botox yet can’t afford a private room for her daughter. The other family members each had their own agenda which didn’t include Maddie’s safety being a priority. Jens bio father $, did she sleep with GM and her second husband ? Maddie’s CRYING NOT TO GO BACK, GM defers to her x, instead of taking Maddie seriously. She was surrounded by self centered cowards.

You need to listen to The Docket's interview between Chris Sterns and Orange County Detective. He drove from his home to their office. He made some very strange comments during this meeting. His demeanor is also very relaxed for having a son who is a demon. Both parents still enabling him.
They are seething with hatred because Stephan did this without anyone else involved in it.

What other excuse do they have for coddling him to that extent, prior to Maddie going missing. Not to mention, the eldest son seems to have disowned them.

I know exactly the sound. Thank God, Ive never experienced losing a child, but I had an extremely traumatic loss happen in 2020. No one had heard from my dear friend that day, and his brother and me entered his home to find him gone from an accidental overdose. If you’ve only seen someone in that state in a funeral home, then nothing can prepare for that encounter, how it makes you feel. That moment has caused me ptsd that I’ve had to work through, but there are some things I can never forget. Take for example, the wails that came out of his brother & me. Sounds I’d never heard myself make. I use that scenario to empathize and understand a lot of these true crime cases. For example, if you’ve ever heard Karen Read in the background of the 911 call made for Officer John OKeefe? Those sounds, those wails, are completely genuine in my opinion. It triggers me every time I hear it.
I enjoyed the part where the detective said that "being medicated and drugged did not clear hear of culpability of the SA crimes under her roof." Jennifer's demeanor completely changed, as if her eyes were opened, she was exposed.
Love the fact no one gives a sh’t when Stephan exclaims he doesn’t like something in prison.

I believe that Jenn at least suspected that Stephan was behaving in appropriately with Maddie because of the whole Woody Allen conversation that Jenn had with Stephan.
Jenn knew that she was wrong for allowing Stephan to sleep in her bed with Maddie sleeping in the middle of them and Jenn also knows that she was wrong for sending her creepy, s3xually frustrated boyfriend upstairs to sleep in a twin bed with her daughter.
There was nowhere in that townhouse where Maddie could go to get away from Stephan because Maddie didn't even have her own bedroom.
Yeah, that night if Jenn wanted a good night sleep, she could have given Maddie her room and gone to sleep upstairs. Stephen could sleep on the couch
EX-BF! They were no longer intimate?! Even SS mom thought 💭 & told her son it was inappropriate to have a child sleep with them after 5!
JS has made comments such as the Woody Allen thing, MS constipation and bleeding bottom and SS thing for anal sex, she kept saying wooded area and said she thought she was drugged and strangled, the sex thing wasn’t evil just the murder. All of this points to her knowledge of what was and did happen!
That's what I think. I bet the doctor never actually did an exam on Madeline. Just Jennifer telling what her problem was and the dr. Writing out a prescription. I hope the trial will bring out Jennifer's guilt. If she is playing everyone it's a crime that should not go unpunished.

Why? Bottom line: she doesn't want to go to prison so she lies and plays stupid. She has total recall if information when it comes to s/s but "forgets" if it was day or night, risky texts, the time of day, even ger precious medication on the Saturday before the birthday party she didn't attend. I liked hearing your commentary regarding Maddie’s case. You handled it with so much respect for Maddie, it’s professional and refreshing.
Even to the untrained eye and ear it’s plain Jenn was complicit , sending them to bed together. The more interviews come out I’m blown away by Jenn’s answers. She was disconnected completely from her child , she knows more and deserves to be in jail.

If you were taking illegal drugs and getting high, they would say you are not capable of looking after a child. These prescribed drugs seem to make her unfit to look after her daughter her judgement was totally off.
The drugs didn’t remove all of her maternal instincts. Jenn is despicable, meds or no meds.

Those roommates were not interviewed until almost April. One is Jenn’s sisters lifelong bestfriend. Both of the roommates neglected to mention the raging screaming and emotional abuse from Jenn to Maddie.
Jennifer was a terrible mother. She cared more about herself than her poor daughter. The whole living arrangement with people renting rooms was so strange and must have been unsettling to a child. 😢

I stayed up and watched them both because I really wanted to get a visual of their reactions as they were being questioned. So much more was voiced by the investigators to bring out their BS than was heard so far on the audio investigations. Love hearing your perspective as a retired law officer. Thank you for your service! I think Jen and Stephan made their own deal not to incriminate each other because they both had a hand in Maddie's death.

Well Jenn said she was diagnosed at 5 but at 8 years apparently he started the abuse?! (From the Grizzly True Crime).

I worked for Early Head Start in a Fed. Grant program. I saw young mom ‘s fill bottles with alcohol to put their kids to sleep!! And, on welfare and busy with boyfriends. A LOT of stupid, incompetent, irresponsible parents. So very sad!

Soto is not the brightest bulb they do have her at the very least child endangerment. The thing if she really cared she wouldn’t have needed any kind of immunity. She should have put herself on the cops team and helped them find her child. They could have tried to have her talk to Stephanie and maybe he would have released location information on Maddie. Instead she hides information. Seems to be more concerned about Stephanie’s welfare. She should not be allowed to have anymore children.

At first I had thought maybe he was dosing them both and telling J stories about whatever. “YOU told us to go sleep upstairs… YOU said she didn’t have meds already…”. Kinda just filling in her life.
Then I saw how she distanced herself from Maddie, but clung to his side so lovingly. I heard the words from her mouth about how Maddie couldn’t stay with friends bc worries, but put her in bed with a grown man.
It’s somethin’ else.
The authorities have been asking a lot about Maddie’s cycle and if she was active. I’m tryin’ not to, but I can’t help but think that baby was with child herself. It may not be so, but those are some pretty direct questions about nothing.

My mother had schizophrenia which I dare say is a much more horrific thing to have over Bipolar, ptsd, anxiety. (I know ptsd is a horrific thing to have). She would never knowingly been a part of what was happening in Jenn's house! Nor would she have ever forgotten/misremembered KEY INFORMATION!
Even drugged up to her eyeballs after each hospital visit she still held onto what was 'her truth'. Despite those 'truths' not being actual reality.
Anyone who wronged her or my siblings would've been thrown under the bus immediately the minute she knew of it!!

Roommate Angelica said she heard noises from 11.30 pm to 2.30 am coming from room 4. She went to sleep at 2.30 am, she said in the interview.

Jenn’s last text ordering Sterns to make sure Maddie was upstairs in bed in Room 4 before she got home reeked of anger. She didn’t want to see her. Something happened & I think Jenn lost it.
She was caught in a lie in the April interview so she will be charged. Maddie never forgot her phone. They went back two years and never left it.
Has anybody said anything about Maddie’s grandparents, Jennifer’s parents? In several interviews, Jenn talks about her father wanting to get rent for the bedrooms in that townhouse.
We are grandparents, and of course we would want our granddaughter to have a bedroom! We also wouldn’t want our granddaughter living with so many other renters, people our family didn’t know.
What is the deal with the grandparents?

Sometimes in life it is necessary to hear what you don't want to hear - especially about yourself. These are painful moments in life but also teaching moments if you choose to learn. From my heart and not anger, I hope Jenn learned.

Most of the S/A pics background was in Maddie’s makeshift bedroom in the living room. Yet Jenn swears under oath that Maddie never spent the night in that bed. The roommates even confirmed that Maddie slept in that partitioned off living room. Sterns would go in there late at night and do those things to her.
I’m curious about her school attendance record. I’m thinking she missed a lot of school so he had more access to her and would explain her poor grades.
Maybe Jen knew she was pregnant and Maddie told her and Jen freaked out told Stefan we got to end it..can't trust her or risk it...who knows I doubt nothing..Jen's slick selfish and the boss...don't let her fool u...Stefan is passive....

She acknowledged the abuse. she saw the photos but she refused to accept he was a monster but if it turns out he killed her seems that's different. She's not as dumb as she would have us all believe. She was caught with the info that she tried to get him a lawyer so she was winging it to try and get herself out of a hole and just dug herself in deeper. She knows what he was doing, she has known Madeline was dead all along because she was there at the time she was murdered. She has to go to jail for this. Jails are full of mentally ill junkies, what makes her any different?
