His intonation between each note is incredible and his ability to vary his tonguing style is expert. The consistency of support between each note is hugely impressive, he must have astonishing air support. Beautiful piece that personifies the beauty of the trombone .
very good stuff. I like the orchestrated accompaniment. Also his sound just seems so natural going from note to note like it just swings note to note. Love it
his tone is good but his playing could be more musical. he could express the dynamics more and use a faster vibrato, as arthur pryor would play it. he's also playing the piece straight, showing that he has no clue what he's doing while playing an arthur pryor piece, as arthur pryor himself would play with gives in the tempo. also he's playing this piece incredibly slowly and is lazy with the tonguing, playing almost everything as slurs when it doesn't say so.

HIS TONE!!
Sounds boring. Maybe he should've been more stylistically correct. Search Bob Isele

Fair points, all of them. How about you post your recording with orchestra accompaniment and show all of us how it's done?
