Nivea lip balm is actually enough for me , and ofcourse love the colorless lip balms which are there to actually moisturize.
I bought maybelline long back. It literally did nothing to my lips. No hydration nothing. It was thick. So I felt that I have it on me.. Plus the smell. Vaseline is literally the BEST of all.

I've tried almost every brand in affordable category ofc, nothing beats the moisture provided by oriflame lip balm, and overall I've found Lakme lip love Cherry kiss to be a great buy.
Just a small suggestion to use the Alia baby lips edition, because gurl I feel you when you say it's tinted af, dab it once or twice lightly on your cheeks and use it as a blush, works wonderfully. Have been using mine the same way :)
So true it's the best way to use. I also use some lipsticks as a blush coz they don't go with my lips well
You can only do this if you have normal or dry skin. Oily skin will get breakouts.
You're right about this Maybelline wine one, it's just like a lipstick, don't buy it if u want a lip balm

Plum candy melts chapstick is my favourite it reduces pigmentation and gives a minimal tint which looks so natural you can apply as much you want the colour will not appear greasy perfect for school girls ❤

I'm a lip balm lover too!....I've tried almost 10 diff shades of just Maybelline baby lips itself...and many more.....n' my fav. is Alia's limited edition's "Brooklyn bronze" shade... it's like created to complement my lip color ❤️....n I've been using it regularly for almost 2-3 yrs now...I've emptied almost 10 sticks since I started using it... till now I guess!... It's my fav.
But yes ...I've tried the Highline wine too n it's shade is horrible as u also said!....I've tried the Alia's Broadway red shade too .... it's very lightly tinted n it's good ...u can try that....it has a very light cherry color....but I didn't like it too much since it doesn't complement my lip color!
I have that Maybelline broadway lip balm nd trust me it's not hydrated ur lips at all u know it's literally like lipstick if u want to use this lip balm as a lipstick then u can....Be a lip balm it should have hydrated as well but unfortunately it's not at all.

I use Miss Claire during summers. I have never experienced medicinal taste or smell that you mentioned. Maybe you're just sensitive sensitive to it.
I use the purple tint one. I think it's nice, although I do agree, it doesn't moisture as much, but for summers its great. You should try Neutrogena when it's on sale. It's as good as Nivea original.

To be frank no lipbalm makes ur lips lighter. Coz I have tried numerous lipbalms from the past 3yrs nothing really worked. Lipblams just give you moisturization. I would suggest you to use turmeric lemon pack on lips also don't put this on face use it only on lips. Try to scrub ur lips every alternative days. Also use spf lipbalms like maybelline or sebamed to protect from sun. Try these for 1month atleast. If You dont see any difference then try using vitc serum on lips. This will definitely help. All these are tried and tested by me. They really gave amazing results. But consistency and patience is the key.

Yeah sometimes... use Lip scrub after that. And then apply lip balm . It worked for me to get soft lips.

Yes, the maybelline one is very glossy and has a good amount of tint. You can try the nivea basic care one. Its really good.

so get the Nivea strawberry shine lip balm you won't get a nice tint of red on the first swatch but you will get a tint on the first one but If you want more tint a couple more swatches

I really like the Nivea face washes and they have it for every skin type. So maybe you can try that. And for the moisturiser, you can try the ponds gel moisturizer. It is good and affordable.

and Lakme...I hate it!... doesn't even get absorbed properly on the lips....n gives very uneven tint on the lips!...I bought Lakme once n that was the last time for me!....do not buy Lakme....never pls!
All shades of Maybelline baby lips are good except for the "Alia's NY Highline wine".... except this u can go for any shade....n if u want a little more color...then u can go for the other shades of Alia's NY limited editions except for that which I mentioned before!
