- We have ridden a few well-known off-road routes in Italy (Piedmont), including Colle dell' Assietta, Monte Jafferau, Colle del Sommeiller (all from the TET Italy) on our Honda CRF250l and Yamaha XT660R.

Thanks for the video, I lived 40 years there, miss my mountains, with my Suzuki DR600 in the '90 every weeks, during the summer time, I was there, with less traffic..wonderful!

De XT660R is echt een geweldig motorfiets, daar kan je alles mee. Ik heb er zelf een gehad ooit tot hij gestolen werd. Ik heb toen de XT660Z gekocht maar die is veel minder geschikt voor het onverharde vanwege het hogere gewicht. Leuk filmpje weer.

Mooie vakantie wel besteed! Wij komen jaarlijks in de eerste week van oktober in deze hoek en ieder jaar is weer fantastisch. Voordeel van oktober is dat je de berg voor jezelf hebt en er is nagenoeg geen sneeuw. (meestal)

Mooi filmpje en een prachtige route. Heb hem een week geleden gezien, en vandaag mijn zware en luxe 1200 cc wegmotor ingeruild voor een lichtere offroad motor. Deze route wil ik volgend jaar ook wel eens proberen 😊

Ik heb de Ligurische Kamstrasses zowel met de motor als met Defender gereden. Colle de Parpillion is ook gaaf! Eèn tip. De dame moet niet met beide benen los bungelend rijden…..beetje extra training mss…verder super leuk en fraaie beelden. Beetje jaloers ook….want heb het offroaden inmiddels vaarwel gezegd.
Ik heb de Parpaillion deze zomer gereden met m'n V-Strom, was erg leuk en smaakte naar meer. Voor Piemonte heb ik wel al routes uitgestippeld, maar ik heb nog niet de tijd gehad om erheen te gaan.

I wonder what the old stone building remnants were back in their day???
Those were fortresses, they were built during the First World War (1914-1918). I was wondering how they built it there, it is a very remote area and knowing that they had to transport everything without the modern tools.

What kind of yamaha do you ride? Kinda sounds like the like the mt07, but looks like a cross between a wr and a T700

I, much like, (I assume) your partner own a crf250l, which I love a lot.
I only wish it had better suspension for better offroad use, and a larger fuel tank for longer distance rides.
But i still love it.

Thank you! We were there in summer, August. For beginners I recommend Colle dell' Assietta. An easy road with beautiful views.

You can ride off-road for days at Piemonte!

She told us there was a mountainbike event at the Assietta and we had to drive carefully.

Hi, Lm the same looking for information. I noticed they used Gran Bosco campsite, look at the campsites "in the surroundings" very useful full of off road biker pics. Hoping to go there in Oct from Scotland. Hope this helps.

Tra 14:25 e 19:05 l'attraversamento di un piccolo nevaio è stato molto complicato. Se andavate a piedi con un bel paio di scarponi avreste rispettato l'ambiente e vi sareste divertiti lo stesso.
