This reminds me of a story. I used to have a friend named Laura back when I was in high school. Laura Pune. She would tell us stories about this older man she was dating, and said that, while it was never made public, they were actually legally married for three years. You see, she was an aspiring actor and he had his legendary reputation, so they kept it hush-hush because it wasn't as acceptable back then what with their age gap, and that it was a mixed race relationship (Laura was about as white as they get), but for that short snippet of time she was known as Laura Jeanne Reese Withers-Pune. Kept the name, more or less, at least the last bit.
She was in a movie with Gary Sinise once called Jack the Bear. Sometimes I wonder what happened to her.
Jeezus, that shows such respect for Withers. Adam Levine as a bluesman? Who knew that would work? Withers was about as far from Maroon 5 as you could get. Levine is very talented regardless.
