My favorite T shirt says: "I Don't Like Morning People.. Or Mornings.. Or.. People" !!! Haha 😮💨 I can relate to crowded places. Don't get me wrong, I do like people, but not in the early morning, or heavy crowds or heavy traffic !! Awesome Japan debut, I want one, and on UK press would be the very best ! "Rock On" is a very cool tune.. I loved it the minute I heard it on release way back in '73 ! Classical is a nice way to tone things down.. Congrats on these killer finds, Mike
Hi, nice finds. Adolescent Sex is by far my fav Japan album. So many great tunes on it. They all play tight on this one, but Barbieri is killing it. Never understood why it's categorized as glam rock. Maybe because of the hairstyles. Greetings
I have never even heard of that Oasis box. I love a bargain 🙂The Modern Dance is fabulous. Japan is fabulous too! I didn't know that the new Fontaines DC record is out. My local shop doesn't have it ... yet.
I really like that Pere Ubu album. Cramps albums are always great though they keep changing the covers so you buy the same thing again lol. What a great record fair, some very impressive records
Forgot to mention...going to Glasgow to see The Pistols lads doing 'Never Mind The Bollocks' next month. The night we arrive,Mr. Essex is playing right across the road from our hotel but we'll be arriving too late to catch it.
Just as well mate, l've seen David Essex tons over the years. The last time, a couple of years ago, he was terrible. Could hardly hit a note. I thought he was past it and definitely wouldn't see him again.
Hi Mike, excellent pick ups especially Pere Ubu, Modern Dance is the best album imo, and of course the mighty Cramps…fantastic. Oasis are not my cup of tea but must say that looks a beautiful super deluxe boxset. Japan excellent. Suzi unzipped….not arf! 😁 Then you made my jaw drop!! I’ll send you an email with the reason why. I was at a record fair yesterday and it was a lot busier and pushier than usual ! Good finds - I have the Oasis box brought just after they split and Head records were having a massive discount on them as I don’t think it sold that well - splitting up was the best thing they did ! You going to try and go to 2025 concert? Been mad this morning on the news !!! ❤
It's going to be mental trying to get tickets. I might have a try but tbh l'm not that fussed. I like them but there's tons of groups that l'd see before them if they were playing the same day.
Great pickups Mike. A real eclectic mix. Loved the look of that boxset but Oasis are just not for me. The Fuzz Flaykes... comp looks fantastic and the Cramps of course plus Fontaines DC. Nice video. Cheers Mike

Brian, l'm happy with my weekend purchases. Not everyone likes Oasis and over here they are very much the Marmite band. I think they are great.
