  • Best Markets To Visit In Bangkok, Thailand
In this video you will see top 3 markets to explore & shop local Thai food, Souvenirs & clothes. Watch the entire video for more details on how to reach & the cost.
    1. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
Good Part : Shop souvenirs, eat local food on the boat & visit palm sugar farms
Bad Part : Located 80 Km from main city & not well connected through public transport.
It was very crowded & touristy with a heavy kerosene smell.
Getting There : Uber to Bangkok’s Southern Bus Terminal where you’ll catch bus #78.
Another pickup point is on the street level of Siam Square.
Bus starts running every 30 minutes, starting around 6 am &
will drop you around 1km from the market.
Recommended is Taxi for 800-1000 Bhat.
    2. Chatuchak Weekend Market
Good Part : largest market in Thailand. Budget shopping for clothes, shoes & food.
Easy to reach as this market is walking distance from metro station &
    bus stop both..
Bad Part: Too much bargaining, cannot try clothes to check fitting.
Getting There : Metro to Kamphaeng Phet | Do not go on to Chattuchak Park |
K P metro station opens directly into a section of the market
    3. Khao San Road (Bangkok backpacker central)
Best Part : Great party place with happening bars & pubs.
Bad Part : Too many "Weed" sellers, approaching Thai hawkers &
    intoxicated people everywhere.
Getting There : BTS sky train to National Stadium (nearest station).
Then walk/ take taxi or tuk-tuk for 50-60 Bhat (4km)
All three markets gave a good experience by my all time favorite was China Town.
