I have mine sitting on a tarp on my back porch. I recently noticed there is an air bubble in the liner part of the bottom of the hot tub. Is that an issue? Should I worry? I have only had this for 3 days.
There's such a thing called Gorilla pad. Something like that. People use it under their frame/vinyl pools. Very thick stuff looks great for cement or deck areas. I think you can buy it and cut it down to your size.

We even used it in the dead of winter when it was 20 degrees out and there was snow on the deck. With that said though, one thing that I have to complain about this unit is that it does not hold its heat well. From the minute you get in and take the top off the hot tub you have about a 30 minute window to enjoy it. So you should know that if your fantasy is to sit out in your hot tub enjoying it for hours drinking beers with your friends, that ain't going to happen. The amount of heat loss will easily go from 104 to 95 or even 90 degrees in this time, which makes it a not so hot hot tub pretty quick. I just received my Coleman Saluspa Cali hot tub from Walmart online. It looks like this one (with the gray wicker look) but has a slightly different make up. For example, I do not see any openings to inflate the cover (which is already puffy) and I found only one opening to install a sanitation receptical inside the tub (even though it came with both a filter and a chemical holder). The chemical holder fits over the hole inside the tub (so I stuck two bromine tablets in it) and threw the filter in the water. I have a feeling that the filter needs to be stuck to the wall, but I cannot find an outlet for it. My air pump does not form a tight seal with the opening in the hot tub wall, so even though I was able to inflate my tub, it is not rock hard, but a little soft and has little creases along the top. I have been looking at You Tube videos and no one has the exact same one. The closest is the Havana model. I have not tried my tub yet because I am still preparing it, but I think it will be ready tomorrow morning. It is my first hot tub, so I am learning as I go. This is my tub: Coleman 71" x 26" Cali AirJet Saluspa Inflatable Hot Tub with EnergySense™ Liner, 2-4 Person www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-71-x-26-Cali-AirJet-Saluspa-Inflatable-Hot-Tub-with-EnergySense-Liner-2-4-Person/294648335 Does anyone else have the Cali model? Update: I found the opening for the filter and located the seal for the air valve- so my Cali is a lot better than before. Loving ❤ it.
Mine leaked air on first setup. Very disappointed! I expected much better. Contacted Bestway for warranty help. We will see...update on 4/5: Bestway had a new liner delivered on Easter Day. Set it up and holding air so far. I did not expect such fast response but they got on it.👍
Yes it is about 100$ if you use it everyday or every other day. Still totally worth it during the pandemic. We would have spent way more than that on vacations but the pandemic has got us locked down so 100$ is no big deal. You do need to tests and do treatments about every day but we have had no problems keeping it clean. Scooping out foam when running the jets really helped keep it crystal clear. We got a storage box to keep it in during the winter. If it’s to cold it takes like 2 days to get it up to 104. We have used it several times a week sense we got it and it’s been a real life saver. If this thing ever breaks we will get a real hot tub because this thing has shown us we could take care of it and run it without to much trouble. We really love the hot tub.
I was wondering if the machine that make the bubbles and the whole cleaning process is save there from being damage for the water for any reason or it’s ok, she can handle water from outside. IDK people coming in and out may splash it by mistake.
With any inflatable, the trick is letting the plastic expand for at least 8 hours before use or filling. Many people don't know that and limit the limit life of their inflatables.
I just got one that says 5-7 adults and looks just like this. I'm wondering if some are bigger than others or they're all the same size. I'm exciting about it and can't wait till it ships!
I'm not certain, but, I would assume it's still comfortable to sit in because the density of water reduces the pressure your back would ordinarily feel, sitting at such a harsh angle.
@@Rick-nq3mz I dont believe it. Not at a busy campground with other people needing the water too. Itd take the better part of a hour to fill your tank each time .. on the other hand you might go thru all that for the attention. Some people crave it. Idk

@@PnwOnTour Well you cannot even have it outside below like 50 degrees. So you definitely can’t sit in it in a snow storm. Lol But regular hot tubs, you can. And that is the best time to sit in a hot tub is in the winter with snow falling and 20 degrees outside. Summer is way too hot here to sit in a hot tub. It’s hot even late at night here in Summer. And spring here is too cold. Literally the only time this would work in Colorado, is early fall. Not worth the 300$. And also the electrical bill here would probably be 1000 more a month as electricity here is through the roof expensive.
There probably is if you have a pool. But heavens, if you have a pool I’d think you’d have a real hot tub also. I mean if you have that kind of money to have a pool in your back yard.
Exactly. My neighbor across the street bought one. Miserable sitting on the ground or deck, it offers no support when the jets begin, the jets are weak, hers started leaking within 4 months. She's back to sitting with me in my 7 seat, conventional hot tub.
We purchased one of these 2 weeks ago. It is great. It would be nice if the timer were more programmable. But for about $500 what more could one want? We have been in most evenings for about 45 minutes. It will be nicer when the outside temperature cools down. It’s almost too warm to use a hot tub. Make sure that your area supports the weight of the tub. It will be well past one ton with water and occupants. Have a blast……
Though you'd have to insulate the inlet hose to keep the water at two when it travels the distance to the tub, nevertheless, if do the danger thing you suggested.
Last years prices , all pool and spa companies put the screws to everyone last year because of covid and the stay at home order.
This is my tub:
Coleman 71" x 26" Cali AirJet Saluspa Inflatable Hot Tub with EnergySense™ Liner, 2-4 Person
www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-71-x-26-Cali-AirJet-Saluspa-Inflatable-Hot-Tub-with-EnergySense-Liner-2-4-Person/294648335
Does anyone else have the Cali model?
Update: I found the opening for the filter and located the seal for the air valve- so my Cali is a lot better than before. Loving ❤ it.
No I didn’t get that one I got havana cuz the Cali looks like it wrinkles in all the photos I noticed that so I canceled the order and got Havana
Mine leaked air on first setup. Very disappointed! I expected much better. Contacted Bestway for warranty help. We will see...update on 4/5: Bestway had a new liner delivered on Easter Day. Set it up and holding air so far. I did not expect such fast response but they got on it.👍
Just got one for Safer at Home this last week and we love it. It is so worth it.
Does it cost a lot in electricity?
This probably isn't safer at home. Water is dangerous, be careful over there.
@@ROCCOCYCLES hahaha. Well only if you have small children. I think most ppl are ok in 2 feet of water.
@@ROCCOCYCLES "water is dangerous"?! So is driving, I bet you still do that, though!
He sounds so disappointed off the gate..he said 4 small people i guess...well shit i cant come im 6 foot😆 great review
Wonder if you have to leave it running for the water to heatup..like all loud an stuff or it has a quiet water circulation to heat
can you run the filter only? Thanks, great info!
Really neat, thanks for the upload, I honestly had no idea these existed!
Great review - I've considered getting one of these in the past, leaning more towards it now.
I was wondering if the machine that make the bubbles and the whole cleaning process is save there from being damage for the water for any reason or it’s ok, she can handle water from outside. IDK people coming in and out may splash it by mistake.
what did it do to your electric bill???
can you heat the water to 104 without the loud pump unit going?
My son has had this for almost 1 year & loves it!
Once inflated does it stay inflated, or does it deflate over time? Have had many blow up pools, which deflate over few days and have to be reinflated?
With any inflatable, the trick is letting the plastic expand for at least 8 hours before use or filling. Many people don't know that and limit the limit life of their inflatables.
@@DJRenee I didn’t lol
Just got one today, can't wait to try it out.
How much ?
@@rainbowpandasays8851 it was $350.00 at the time without tax @ walmart.
How do you fill it with water
Link please?
Did you like it ?
So how cold before you have to take it down.
I would have it outside on the screened in porch
I just got one that says 5-7 adults and looks just like this. I'm wondering if some are bigger than others or they're all the same size. I'm exciting about it and can't wait till it ships!
How is it?
Could you get in it please? Does is bow down on the sides when people are moving around in it. Are the walls fairly firm when in use?
Nice video. How often do you have to change the water before it gets cloudy ?
So what are the electrical 🔌 requirements for the outlet ?❓
Being it's a heater, I would say the requirements would be a dedicated 120 volt GFCI protected 20 amp circuit.
Is it comfortable to sit in? The walls are 90* to the bottom so it looks pretty vertical.
I'm not certain, but, I would assume it's still comfortable to sit in because the density of water reduces the pressure your back would ordinarily feel, sitting at such a harsh angle.
Hot tubs are best in cold weather, at least for me.
My kids would use it for floating down the river..does it come with oars???
Could I set this up inside, like in my living room, without worrying about it leaking??
I take mine camping it’s amazing how many people come over and ask Is that a hot tub?
Where do you get 300 gallons of clean water when you're camping?
Unless of course you mean "camping"
@@getchasome6230 when you have full hook ups at the campsite or I use my 100 gallon portable water bladder that I put in the bed of my truck
@@Rick-nq3mz see? Now I know you're lying for attention because 100 gallons is less than half of what it takes to fill it up.
@@getchasome6230 not when you make 3 trips back and forth from a water source that is close by
@@Rick-nq3mz I dont believe it. Not at a busy campground with other people needing the water too. Itd take the better part of a hour to fill your tank each time .. on the other hand you might go thru all that for the attention. Some people crave it. Idk
how many pounds is it filled? unplug in rain? how long did it take to put up? would you put it on a wood deck off ground?
does it use a lot of power how much is that device taking like 1 or 2 watts?
These hot tubs that inflate, are sooo comfortable!! My friend has one, and they are WONDERFUL!!
Outstanding job on this review. Love to hear a fellow southerner talk. I can hear my drawl getting thicker by the minute.
Could you put this in the basement or is there too much humidity generated with it? Thanks
Of course you could.... But where is all that water going to go in an accident? It's inflatable and shit happens.... You're going to have to drain and refill it every month or so also. Just stuff to keep in mind. You will prolly need a dehumidifier as well.
I’ve had mine Going on five years..I did have to take the pump apart to put new seals inside and silicone some pieces because it was impossible to get parts.. but I love it its awesome ..It does get cold here in Atlanta even freezing but I just leave it run have no problems😊👍
Thank you I live in GA to 35 minutes from Atlanta. Did you see a huge change in your electricity we in the suburbs past six flags.
Mrs Mincey You’re welcome ..I didn’t see no change my electric bill to be honest with you.. I’m really good with the electric except for summertime my last bill was just $80 ..I got Jackson EMC..In the summertime it’s a little over 200 with the AC on 😎👍
@@hellcatredeye-g6582 thanks we have GA power and it never goes over 300 monthly and we have two units for each floor we're total electric so probably not a huge change in a house
Mrs Mincey Yeah I have two 12,000 wat units They pretty much never shut off from April to the end of October..😊
@@hellcatredeye-g6582 yeah that's GA weather lol
As soon as I heard that accent I subscribed. Sounds like somebody who knows got to assemble a hot tub.
I was wondering what kind of plug dose the pump have ?
Pretty cool product that I didn't know existed. Agree though, the shop vac/vaccuum loud motor is a bit much.
I set mine up today and it’s louder on a video but not in person
Ridiculous complaint, how else can you move that much air...again it’s $300, next complaint is I can’t leave it outside in a snow storm!
@@PnwOnTour get off it dude. It makes that much noise because it's a cheap ass pump. Yeah, that's what you get for only $300. You get to sit and "relax" in the bubbly water while your ear drums are being blown out by the loud ass pump sitting right next to you. That's not most people's idea of relaxing in a hot tub, idiot!
@@mrspeeddemon727 real hot tubs are loud too
When draining, is it possible to attach a hose to the drain (without major mods) so you don't have to flood the immediate area?
Thanks for the video. We are getting ours on Wednesday.
Thanks for doing this, I always wondered if these would be worth it. Great price.
I wonder if I can run it from the ac outlet in my truck. I should Google the amp draw
Were you able to go back in time with it?
👋😀
I there a way to add an extension from the pump to the pool to move the pump farther away?
There probably is if you have a pool. But heavens, if you have a pool I’d think you’d have a real hot tub also. I mean if you have that kind of money to have a pool in your back yard.
@@alesiapiresio9719 what are you talking about??
I don’t think I could enjoy it when the pump is running. Is there perhaps a way to muffle the sound?
Any update on how well everything has aged?
First 2 seconds of looking at this I can see there's no way more than 2 adults can fit comfortably in there.
Exactly. My neighbor across the street bought one. Miserable sitting on the ground or deck, it offers no support when the jets begin, the jets are weak, hers started leaking within 4 months. She's back to sitting with me in my 7 seat, conventional hot tub.
I was in my neighbors, definitely wouldn’t recommend one, just my opinion,Iam six feet tall though 😂
U get what U pay for, put the unit works well

And you're not smugly bragging or anything like that.
Wonder if I could put one in my shed as I have no privacy fence?
Can you turn the air bubbles down or is that the way that are all the time
Hmm..wonder if this heating system could work on above ground pool
How is everone's electric bill , had one years back and got rid of it due to very high electric bills.
So what I want to know do they have a bigger one?
How much does it cost every month on your electric bill?
We purchased one of these 2 weeks ago. It is great. It would be nice if the timer were more programmable. But for about $500 what more could one want? We have been in most evenings for about 45 minutes. It will be nicer when the outside temperature cools down. It’s almost too warm to use a hot tub. Make sure that your area supports the weight of the tub. It will be well past one ton with water and occupants. Have a blast……
Can I just plug this in on my back patio with my three prong regular plug?
That's nice I would definitely get one, thx for the video
My boyfriend bought this months ago and still hasn’t set it up!
Bummer Mitch

Lol I will take it , we love our hot tub so considering one once we travel
That’s why he’s a boyfriend, u need a MAN.
@@loccstah3135 lol
I think it would be easy to add some tubing to get the motor farther away................
Though you'd have to insulate the inlet hose to keep the water at two when it travels the distance to the tub, nevertheless, if do the danger thing you suggested.
Wow that's incredible value especially with the jets running
How much does it cost to run! I am thinking about getting this one! Thank you! Enjoy!👍🏻🍹
Where did you find it at that price??? Everywhere I find a Havana model it's $500-700
Last years prices , all pool and spa companies put the screws to everyone last year because of covid and the stay at home order. ( Absolute price gouging ) they will have to come back down now because everyone that bought them are tired of the maint. and expense . keep an eye out for them on FB marketplace and Craigslist for a used one for about $100.00 ..They certainly are not worth more than $300.00 new... pool or spa
@@MyMason100 wrong. The price doubled because of supply and demand. Stimulus and inflation means it’s not coming down any time soon. 🤦🏾♀️
