We had almost the identical gate when my son was little. Excellent for when he didn’t really want to have his nap but he really needed to (for his parents’ sanity 😂).
Worked really well until he got a bit older and one afternoon met me on the stairs after having vaulted the gate! And that was the end of nap time for evermore…
