A close family friend of mine “Sophia” was recently diagnosed with Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. She is currently receiving chemotherapy and fighting it. When I first heard the news, I felt completely helpless, but I wanted to help her in anyway I could. So I decided to write her this song to help motivate her during her battle with cancer. When I told her about the song and how I wanted to dedicate it to her she was very grateful. We agreed that our hope is that this song not only help her through her journey, but also anyone else going through their own difficult battles in life. My friend was going through a really tough time where he ended up losing his mom and his dad travels all the time for work. But, the only one who takes care of him pretty much is his older sister who he told me "I wanna feel like my older sister is my actual mom at this point." After hearing this song I decided to send him this song and told him "Listen to this song multiple times and do what the song says ok?" After listening to this song every time he wanted to listen to music, when he started coming back to school every time I saw him I saw his morale was boosted and I respect him at all cost even with whatever he is going through.
