3:12 ... There are indeed more locomotives and wagons available, but they are even more expensive than the older ones....!! I know, new and better technology. But 250 to 350 euros for a single locomotive.... Come on, guys..... Who can afford that ? Make a few smaller and cheaper locos. And passenger wagons. The choice in buildings in Z scale is also EXTREMELY limited !!! Please....WHEN will a manufacturer pick up on this ? There are so few buildings to choose from, it's ridiculous. All we can do is to buy three or four of the same kit and paint them in different colors, add or remove details and place them not too close to each other, pointing in different directions. Only then it will not draw too much attention to the fact that your layout has many duplicates. Now someone will point out the fact that there are more and more cardboard models available. I know. And they look great. I own a few of them. But the larger and/or more beautiful ones are even more expensive than the plastic ones. And those are already very expensive. Unless Z scale is being promoted a lot more, anything and everything in Z scale will be a hobby for the rich..............
Or just save up? If it's too expensive then save up more money, the hobby is still accessible to poorer people, they just have to wait a bit longer to have enough. I'd say it's worth it for the detail and smooth running that these tiny engines manage.
Amazing panoramic scenes. I love the mountain rocks.

Never going to attract the younger genertation (Or even the older ones) Because of the far highier prices compared to the more common H0/00 gauge.
