      This has been awesome. I have seen good video tutorials but I have found yours to be most helpful. Mainly due to yours are just Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 straight forward.

      One on how to get wall assets into the build section would rule. I know how to get assets in, but how to get the wall, room builder, portal thing to accept assets would rock

    Recently I was running my game and the lighting actually tripped up my player. She has devil's sight and can see really far, tho it is only in black and white. Because of this, she didn't realize a mushroom was a mushroom and not just some rock, and said mushroom was a trap. With color, it is very distinct from the terrain, so it is very easy to spot them, but in black and white not so much.
    The fact I designed the map makes me even prouder for having done this.

      I had vaguely heard of it before, and folks had mentioned it. But until you see it in action I struggled to comprehend how useful it would be!

    Welcome to the Foundry party!! If you really want to blow your mind, have a look at Baileywiki and his vids on Monks Active Tiles. That Module with Trigger just knocks it out of the park

    It's sooo good! One of my favorite modules. Nothing worse than creating walls in Dungeondraft and then having to do it again on a VTT. Plus the grid is automatically aligned when you import it, which to me is one of the most annoying things to have to fiddle with.

      The base app's grid system is really poor! After one session struggling I went and got a module to make it easier, but having it baked in via this integration is fantastic.

    Now I know what I've done wrong when I've tried to do it. I was exporting not as the VTT option, probably it just exported as a standard image. Thanks!

      That's probably the reason! I assume when you export as universal VTT is separating out the image into the individual elements for foundry to read.

    You just wait till you get to the point of using your world map like world anvil or legend keeper. Foundry making being DM fun and easy. It's nice to have tool that let you make 2-3 hour game sessions in 30 min.

      I think there's both World Anvil and Legendkeeper integration modules as well for people who already use those tools.

      I already have the world map set up as a permanent scene that we default to whenever we're not using another map for combat, so that the players have something to look at and be inspired by.

    Okay so weird question... In my light styles (never used them before) there are no templates.

      Hmm, I'm not sure what would cause that! Some of them don't show unless you choose a color, but the option still appears in the list.

      @@IcarusGames Well that is odd. I was working on a map when I saw your reply, figure I give it another go and SHO Nuff it was there again. I am guessing it is a asset pack not loaded.

    Any way to import a premade map, That I can use as a blueprint?

      Yeah you can bring in jpg and png files and use them as maps and manually add walls etc.
