i'm not surprised at all that you get wxl40 more clearly in berks even though you are closer to allentown...wxl40 is a beast of a transmitter! i'm from hershey

Thanks for this helpful video. I had more difficulty than I'd anticipated. The flashing "advisory" notiice won't go off and there is no way listed in the manual to disengage it. Even turning the radio off and back on doesn't help. Might you have any idea? Thanks so much!
@@montalt10 Thanks! I finally figured out how to silence the audible message after hearing it once through but it's not as simple (or reliable) as the older 100s and 120s. I spent quite a bit more on this newest model and had a few disappointments.
Hey Ed, I just received my WR 400 in the mail a few days ago. Received my 1st Advisory today, but I did not get anything in the Alphanumeric Message for the Advisory today. Is there something that I need to turn on for see the on the botton of the Radio? Thanks steve.
I purchased this for the weather and radio. Can't seem to program the radio and save it to the given buttons above. Please help me this one time and I shall subscribe & like to your channel. Thx much

Please help.... followed this thoroughly and currently we have a wind advisory and a tornado watch but it's not showing anything at all!!!!
wind advisories (WIY) are never usually toned on NWR
