It is NOT rigged... the tipping test is faulty, it's done with the boom arm fully extended, and on a ridged pivot machine like the bobcat this means the bucket is closer to the center of gravity, but as the bucket lowers it gets farther away from the CoG and so less weigth is needed to tip the machine.
with the john deeres design it actualy has a better center of gravity when the bucket is lower to the ground, also you guys knotice that the entire boom arm lifts up on the deere, this complex lever system is actualy much easier for the hydrolics to do. then it is for the hydrolics of the other machines with their simple lever.
tsu similar machines, especially for the operators. bobcats are tough little machines, they can take a beating thats for sure, and you can keep the john deere's at the farm as far as im concerned. sorry if i offended you, but i do know what im talking about.
i would take this as a bad point for john deere the prvs (pressure relief valves) on these machines should be set so they can lift there heaviest load and just a little bit more to stop operator overloading them obviousley jd dont care if the operator kills themself or damages the machine.
more counterwieghts wouldnt increase its lifting power if its already giving out on hydraulic power without lifting the back end up while trying to lift that load. as a so-called "cat rep" you would know that caterpillar designs these machines so that they wont lift a load outside a safe weight range.
actually if you watch the lift segment it wont lift the load at all and the back doesnt lift. i run these on the daily pal and its a good thing that they arent overpowered. there is no point to having more power than needed. im a cat guy through and through. i wasnt being a smartass, just stating fact. i run a 297, 988g,h and d8,9 on a large gravel crushing spread and i guarantee i have more experience in the field with caterpillars products than most, and i love their machines, compared to koma
ive ran them all why arent any of this competitions real work life cause any if it was it would be bobcat and ill run against any "pro" its all ive done for 15 yrs
Deere sucks eh? and i suppose the deeres unique boom arm design has ABSOLUTUELY NOTHING!!! to do with it's victory in this particuler contest. i've seen deere owners actualy break their machines becuase the boom arm design allows them to pick up things that they really shouldn't be picking up. bobcats may look better on paper, but in the real world their fixed pivot boom arms are a dis advantage when picking heavy objects up.
rev the Bobcat up more!!!! they must have turned the releif down aswell Cats and bobcats much much better machines than JD Too bad john deere is cheating!!
that deere has almost 12,000lbs of break out force. thats more than an other skid ster out there.
I mean... this is practically a John Deere commercial... so yes, I'm guessing they would win.

its the way the arms are on the deer that helps
What about the read ticket items such as Maintenance and Durability?

Why are the counter weights removed from the other two none JD machines? Oh wait... It's fixed... Sorry... Dumb question.
Not tipp if its bricks... what do the john do when lifting??? It tilts!!!
snow plowed with a deere was noting but a pos. the 1845c case alwas worked

cat and asv make the best multi terrain loaders
hmmm...wonder why deere didn't put a CASE 465 in the competition.......?
they didnt even have the counterweights on the cat.
It's sponsored by Deere. Big shocker

wonder why ASV isnt in this competition
john deere kicks ass
WAAAAAAAAAAAAHH The DEERE BEAT MY FAVORITE MACHINE! WAAAAAAAAH
Where's the ASV?
The ASV would have eaten them all. I have used all of the top six and it's not a contest. That's why they didn't invite ASV.
I agree John Deere is the best then bobcat and caterpillar cat machine
was this on espn haha
where did the new holland go? afraid they win sad :(
is the deere better than a bobcat... somy of you that try the new Volvo??
John Deere got it easy
actually if you watch the lift segment it wont lift the load at all and the back doesnt lift. i run these on the daily pal and its a good thing that they arent overpowered. there is no point to having more power than needed. im a cat guy through and through. i wasnt being a smartass, just stating fact. i run a 297, 988g,h and d8,9 on a large gravel crushing spread and i guarantee i have more experience in the field with caterpillars products than most, and i love their machines, compared to koma
THIS IS FIXED UP JOHN DEERE WINS ALL THE TIME
why dont they put case new holland and jcb to the game to see how is the best
John Deere is better any day then other machines
Because bobcat and Caterpillar you’re not have the Disabiliy but John Deere does have the disability
case is the shit
The john deere have 500liter of water in the load...
@srgmetro probably cause ASV sucks. the asv would fall forward. and i know that cause i own one
ive ran them all why arent any of this competitions real work life cause any if it was it would be bobcat and ill run against any "pro" its all ive done for 15 yrs
I hate these kinds of comparisons.
John deere can easily tamper with one of the competetors machines, whatever make they are. Who can verify that?
Hmm wonder why deere keeps winning? Probaly has nothing to do with them sponsoring the event.....
