I'm starting my own academy in a few weeks. I have done countless online classes (paid) and have played the game on many different levels in my younger days. At age 39, with all that I know, I am still terrified of day one when the kids arrive.

CB... great content... Watching from Houston, Texas... I recently found your content and it has helped me out. I recently started coaching a U8 team and I was wondering if you could recommend books, websites, RUclips channels or other content that you have found that is helpful in the kids game. Also wanted to ask what your recommendation is for U8's in regards to pitch size and players on the pitch... USSF recommends 4v4 on a 25x35 (yards) pitch. The club I coach with plays a 7v7 on a 40x60 pitch which feels fine although at times the matches become about endurance and speed more than team play. I don't know if perhaps I'm expecting to much from 7 and 8 year old's. Thoughts or recommendations?
When teaching a technical skill, such as a specific turn. Make sure you carry that through to your matches, when kids are challenged, rewarded and encouraged to carry out that turn during the games
Why are you guys calling yourself Catalan Football if all videos I’ve seen so far seemed to have been filmed in the UK? No polemic, just a curiosity. Thanks
