An exercise that helped me sfter learning chord shapes is playing up the chord shape and down the scale. Example: CEGFED(root position c chord then down part of the c major scale) It helps you kinda see scales and chords as united ideas. You can also do it vice versa (CDEFGEC)
Absolutely love your content. I've been playing guitar for 10+ years and I've never better understood how to move around the neck than I have with your theory explanations. Thank you so much and look forward to newer videos! Especially love the shorts
So hard for me to learn something new because I get about 5 minutes into learning new things and all of a sudden I take off and start playing easy songs that I already know. I have the worst patience... the worst. But I wanted to start taking guitar more serious, so Ive been watching your videos. Ive been playing for 3 yrs but ive got the skill of someone thats only played 6 months...Im hoping that by following your lessons, warm-ups and opinions it will turn me into a guitar slaying phenom. 🤘
I just watch the shorts. I’ve been playing a lot longer than you. But I want to tell u that ur instructional videos are really good. I’m listening. For me it’s review. But u so much better than most any other rock guitar guy out there. Keep it up. Great work.

I've watched many lessons about triads and none of them explained better than you. It finally clicked watching your two lessons. Thank you.
I concur. Your statement is precisely true for me also (in other words, I was going to write this but you beat me to it).

This is extremely useful! This video doesn’t have near the amount of views it should have.
