Greetings from the UK. Like so many others, my love for the Fury started with the film. It's great to see you restoring one. Love the channel and watch what you're doing.
Years ago a friend and I spent two days removing the dash pad from a '61 or '62 Imperial dash in a wrecking yard. We finally got it out, but we had multiple handfulls of some of the strangest and varied types of fasteners I had ever seen! I told my friend I thought Chrysler must have put a team of engineers to the task of creating new and strange fasteners for the car just to keep them busy! Have fun!
much later on, would be cool to see if someone could rebuild the AM radio, with a small Transmitter, MP3 player, it could then play the songs from the movie, with you wearing your Michael Myers mask, driving this car in the future, people are gonna lose their frikin minds lol, but yeah, another incredible update of the resurrection !!
Ahhh that dash looks gorgeous the red just looks stunning amazing work, my break at work has deffinitly been better with some quality content to watch :)
Great to see some progress, and your willingness to fix up an old car that's well past it 😊 I'm not a fan of the texture either, but it's your car, so go nuts.
Yep there it is i have the grey outer plate that says plymouth on it hangin in my garage i love the way it looks with the green lights i put l.e.d. green bulbs in my green 67 impalas dash it looks original but looks more vibrant n brighter,, my 67 plymouth fury has the dash lights on the outside of the dash and they shine down on the front face of the speedometer and gauges its different but cool! The dash lit up at 10:20 thats str8 up Christine there! Just think U got Christine Man! Dont let no shitter get in the way of u n Christine Man!🇺🇲
Looking forward to see how this project turns out.Do you have a correct engine for it?,how about the dual quad set-up?.........................Arnie?,when we were making out,the car just off.
Don't change a thing you are doing....this is how all of us work on our stuff. I'm ok with the bad lighting, old modified tools, working outside, and having bugs getting into the camera shot. I would suggest getting a large canopy to help with the sun and light rain. I use one here in Texas along with copious amounts of "deep woods" cologne.
Time has not been kind to a 3 owner car best of luck. The movie Christine certainly lifted the profile of these models and the forward look cars in general. In Australia these cars were almost non existent here before that movie was released a few four doors came here back in the day and that was about it.
Just one question: after you tested the lights worked on the dash cluster, did you put a drill in the back of the speedo and spin it up to check if the odometer went backwards?
@@RottenBuick Hello Back!! Canada (Montreal) had a famous 1963 Plymouth Fury 4 door, from 1965 to 1999 it was driven as a Taxi by one man,, it had 1.6 million miles on it ( on it's 5th , or 6th engine) before it was destroyed by a red light runner, just just 164 miles short of the world record., the car was bought and restored using 2 parts cars and now sits in a museum in Quebec
Goosebumps! It has to be Big-Foot!
Anything and everything you do to that car puts a little more life back into it. I've always wanted a '58. Congrats on having one.
Same here, I would love to find and own one, they are hard to find though.
Yeah that’s true. I needed to move the dash out of the way anyway.

It’s going Bluetooth
@@RottenBuick even better!!!
Glad to see you actually renovating an automobile. Dudes get them running in vids I've seen. Good luck. I'll be watching.
Yeah, I enjoy fabrication too. So a little something for everyone.
Definitely Christine vibes!!!

Hey I appreciate you watching. It’s been fun making videos. Nice to know people enjoy them.
I also think it looks fine as is, but then, its your car and you need to be satisfied with it. More power to you!
Awesome
Awesome job man
Glad to see you working on this project, my 60 olds project has been put on pause for awhile myself and it's good to see someone else progressing.
It happens. I haven’t touched my 50 Buick

I fixed it
Dash looked good . Just like Johnny Cash said "One piecs at a time".

I always thought that dash cluster was the coolest thing when it lit up especially when Christine was about to get the shitter
Agreed

Thanks. Yeah I’ll keep making changes in a positive direction. For sure .

Australia has its own awesome car scene at least. Hard to top Mad Max.
Maybe the dash would look better in Octopus red.............👍
😂

It's like 1AM rn totally watching this in the morning though
Shouldn't the vents and speaker grille be black? Maybe I'm misremembering
I don’t think so. 🤔
Red dash had red grills, so it's all correct.
Was the parts car equipped with a push-button automatic transmission & does it have a V-8 or the same flathead inline 6 engine as the 1958 Plymouth?
The 59 was a push button v8 sport fury. But everything is totally different than the 58.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 : I need to ask why are you doing the dash before completing your metalwork ? ? Very confused !
@@debbiebermudez5890 needed to get it out of the way to work on the floors. And wasn’t much extra work to paint it. Motivational work. 😅
I think the texture would be ok only if black colored...
I plan on redoing it.
Imaging if this was an EV sitting in a paddock 50 years from now - as for restoring it you'd have no hope. These old girls anything is possible.
EV will fall apart after 8-10 years of life. Any modern vehicle will.
hi my name is Roger morin of Ottawa Ontario look up 1957 or 1958 plemeth fury Faber cated floor paneling both inner and outer
