Cameras are great, they can also capture things what people might forget, but they can used it for evidence/protection.
Why not use the same helmet cams used by the military and special forces rather than the ones all other police staff use
He literally just explained it. They are interchangeable with the regular police force. I don't see why that would be a bad thing?
You need AFOs to use as much of the same gear as regular cops as possible so both are familiar with it when they work together as often as they do.

gun mounted cams are a lot cheaper and you can see where the firearm was being pointed and they use a standard sd card but then i bet he would'nt have got a"sweetener" for picking that overpriced toy and it's not they're money is it
