If a candidate for USA president won't debate the others, he should be taken off the ballot. Dems didn't allow anyone on their side to debate as candidates which is why Kennedy had to become independent.

Trump thinks in simple terms and is street smart. But his head would be spinning in the first minute or first question posed. Coming from a 2 time Trump supporter, who still likes Trump for the most part: Trump has nothing to gain from debating RFK Jr. Trump either can’t put complete thoughts into words, or he intentionally speaks the way he does for sound bite media. Biden only gains to lose by debating at all too. Trump debating RFK would only give RFK attention and support. RFK is the only guy who can sit and have a normal freeform conversation with someone for hours. Having said that I am definitely voting RFK Jr regardless.
Do you really think RFK can pull enough support from Maga to win? He really needs to pull 35% support from both Biden and Trump to win. Thats impossible, especially with his VP pick, far left progressive that is his biggest campaign donor. I want to believe in something better than Trump as well but really RFK is actually more indebt to his donors than Biden is to Hunters business partners. I have zero faith in that guy.
I disagree. Trump has had some strong performances during town halls and interviews this election season. Kirsten Welker has interviewed him for an entire hour and tried to interrupt or disprove him on every step of the way. Trump rambles a lot during his rallies but rallies are different.
At this point Trump is just polling too high and acknowledging third-party opponents has historically almost always backfired. However, Ronald Reagan has debated John Anderson and it went well and I believe Trump could easily win against Kennedy in a debate.

It is well known that RFK Jr is serious trouble for both Trump and Biden, regardless of RFK Jrs poll numbers being a bit larger or smaller. This margin that RFK Jr could take either way could lose Trump the election quite frankly. A good debate could dispel the threat of this competition IF you were the "better man". However Trump knows he is NOT the "better man", so he subverts the whole debate all together, and is just clenching his almost 80yr old cheeks hoping he still wins anyways. A lame strategy indeed!

Trump said he'd debate Bobby if Bobby's poll numbers are up. Translation: If I'm way ahead, I don't want to jeopardize my lead. For all Trump's bluster, that's a sign of a coward. That notwithstanding, I am on the fence between these two candidates for a few reasons. I would love to see a debate not only between them, but with Biden participating, as well. I don't need to know any more about Biden than the damage he has already done, but I think that there are a lot of Americans who need to see just how feeble-minded he is in comparison to Trump and Bobby. The trick for Bobby is that he doesn't want to divide us further by pissing off Trump fans. Bobby is brilllant and honest, can focus, come back in the moment quickly and logically, and calmly. Bobby may be shorter than Trump, but here is no doubt that he could best Trump at any physical activity, and Trump knows it.
