Growing up, I read his books, and spend hundreds of my money bought his books. I gotta say, his infamous book, Rich Dad Poor Dad was really eye-opening. It changed my perspective of the world especially career-wise.. I bought his related books, as well, but I found whatever written in those books, majority are almost about the same points. Nothing really revelation on new knowledge. Many of them promotion and self-bragging about his so-called businesses without even telling in details how he really operating on those business. Only the gist and concept, which I can just read from regular articles for free. Still, I worshipped the books, but getting into real world, corporate and business, I learned that reality is not the same with what written in books. I used to think the best one are business owner and investor, not merely employee, and I used to look down employee as career, like the books always emphasize on. But I found some people including myself probably will be better working as employee, as professional in my field. The point of the book is wrong. Let people be employee if they want, don't call them losers. If there is these so-called "losers" didn't exist, you rich people will never be rich. The best advise is not to discriminate people based on the career path they choose, but to encourage people to the best what they do, be it normal employee, self employed, business owner or investor. Not everything revolved around money. If people stop working on what they passion for, even as just employees, the world economy will collapse
    Edit:
so many comments so-called "businessman always better" mentality here. Just to inform, I had successful businesses which had ups and downs, moderately earning good wages as employee now considerably more than average people, but I never judge anyone who earn less than me as loser. Be a employee or business men. I have somewhat blessed life, yet I still want to explore things, learn new skills, and make use of the skills, even as an employee.
It's so sad people like to judge successful and happiness only when you earn more than a million. Happiness in life especially career-wise, is self satisfaction, which will be vary individually. Some people consider themselves happy and successful in life if they can earn 1 million per year, but another people may just be happy raising healthy kids.
Why we need to just limited our success with only 1 way, which is business? Why we need to push that mentality to young people, who many now encouraged to not going to college at all, to become influencers because, apparently making 1 million by dancing like monkey in front of iPhone is more important than to become engineer? Why we need to have at least more money than other people just to prove that we are useful to the society, and other way are the loser ways?
I am not saying he is wrong to say being business man is good, I am saying he is wrong when he said being employee is loser. So many business men I personally know, had so many failed businesses, but they always keep it going until they hate themselves. They were being brainwashed because apparently business is better than work as slave, and hate to admit that doing business are not for them. I truly believe they would have achieve more greatness if they just work for big companies. Maybe discover or invent something. Some are better to be business man, some are better to be an employee. Some are better to be both. Let people choose whatever makes them happy and be the best they can be. Nothing is better than anything else.

And Tax laws, economic conditions, Inflation rates and interest rates are different in every country. So his points are not valid everywhere... Like not showing income to avoid tax but generating cash flow...Ask him to come to India and our Government will make him at least 35% poorer. We also have strong withholding tax system... And more than two dozen laws for businessman to follow.

Some of the happiest people I know, do what they love. What he fails to realize, is not everyone wants to be rich, powerful, etc. It's why most calculations of happiness stop increasing after about 75,000 per year income (individual income). I'm all for people shooting for the stars, wanting to be very rich, but I am also all for the people living on a little plot of land, making very little money above what they pay for living expenses, loving their family and friends, and loving their life. We become more and more obsessed with power, attention, money, and the like. It's becoming rarer and rarer that people focus on what actually creates happiness.

@@sidohofman6835 You're right, rich people can't exist without poor people, but there's new poor people every day as kids become adults. The wealthier the man is, the more the family spends on consumer goods, so as long as a percentage of men can make a disposable income, demand always exists for those who wish to profit from creating a supply. It's not that people can't get rich. Anyone can work hard enough to pay a wealthy mentor and follow their path to wealth. The real issue is a lack of knowledge of how to change your mindset and self-sabotaging subconscious feelings that hold people back from actually doing it. Addictions, distractions, and emotional immaturity are all contributing factors. None of us are immune to it.

They are like when you read holy scriptures for instance the Koran or the Bible they just guide you but Muhammad or Jesus will give you answers you need. It’s the same concept as a scam course about teaching people how to make scam courses. The money is in making the scam course and scamming people not in paying for the course, and ironically through a course it’s teaching you that even though it shouldn’t take a course to realize that. But that’s essentially the lesson he’s teaching minus the scamming analogy. He writes books on how to be successful and he’s basically revealing his success comes from writing books on how to be successful not the secrets in the books. That’s valuable enough information it could lead someone who didn’t understand that concept before to want to buy his book even knowing what he wrote wasn’t something he was passionate about. More so they want to learn from how a successful book that made him money could make them money if they wanted to write a book themselves despite hating it

Thank God my life is good he has bless me in numerous ways. There’s a certain amount of money that you can make and live a good life. Beat the system. I always try to cut corners. But I did make a mistake and focus 13 years in corporate and that wasn't my passion or what I loved. Now I do what I love, travel full time, live abroad consistently and started my own business and earning massive amounts of money. You can definitely have it all and more when you get in with the right industry/business. It doesn't have to take time when you open yourself to learning from people who's already doing what you want to do. That's the problem, you've got to open yourself up to those living the life that you want and take advice from them. 🌟
