This showed up while I was on a playlist. This is the most captivating video on Batik fabric I have ever seen! Thank You. I had no idea that I would gain so much knowledge for this fabric while sharpening my bag making skills!!!
Annie, this is the absolute best video I have seen in a long time. Probably the best ever. I “batik” myself however I do a more controlled version than was shown here, but the waxing process is the same. I love batiking. I loved this video because Bruce’s video and narration was so well done. Thank you.
Absolutely loved this presentation! I have bought several Sew Batik patterns and material but hadn’t gotten around to making the items. Will get on it. Seeing the batik process was fantastic and fascinating! Annie, I was very interested in your patterns also! Thanks for a wonderful presentation!😍😍
I find this very interesting. When I was in 7th grade (1965) I had an art teacher who had our class create a scarf with a Batik design. We didn’t use copper for our stamps but had to hand carve our design into a piece of linoleum tile. At the time I thought the hardest part was removing the wax. Love the garments that Diane showed. Makes me get back into garment making.
Early detection by Tallahassee Radiology Associates saved my life! Caught the breast cancer before it made it to the lymph nodes. I tell all women to go get a mammogram. This March I had surgery and in June radiation so I am very grateful for the doctors, nurses and healthcare workers who took such good care of me. The doctor told me that 1 in 8 women have been diagnosed. I had no idea it was so pervasive. I made a bosom buddy for the seat belt. Thank you for the free pattern.
