Scenario : dynamic file structure I have to load the flat file using informatica power center whose structure is not static. Number of columns will get changed in the future run. Here is the source file: ex : first day file emp_id , e_name, e_city 1 xys wer 2 sdf sdf second day file emp_id , e_name, e_city ,e_zipcode , 1 xys wer 34543 2 sdf sdf 35345 In the sample file I have 3 columns right now but in the future I can get only 4 columns or I may get another set of new columns as well. I can't go and change the code every time in the production , I have to use the same code by handling this situation. Can you please explain this in interviewer asking this question kindly give me the solution for this one?
every day we are trying to load the data into target the code is not into production still it in testing phase 1st day the vendor sends 10 columns with the header and coma separated and we load that file to target and next day the vendor sends 5 columns and 4 columns like this every day in the file but vendor is not changing any columns or add new columns and the vendor jumbling position of the columns and vendor is not pass null for missing columns this is the structure of the file need to load data without losing any record how will we load the data to target in informatica power center and IICS Kindly explain this scenario please...
