- %90 a full round bolted.
other machines were not able to bolt this heading because of the corner lifters needed to be reblasted.
Having the boom out front is very versatile.
I wish I could get on this machine more, it is a lot of fun.
This is one of the first few times running this machine, The operation of this machine is way more streamlined and efficient now. I can't wait to do more videos with it.
Keep em coming Jory. I like the RUclips speed control features ;)
Between this and a MacLean scissor bolter which is more productive
I find that I'm faster on a robolter. But some guys are really good on a MacLean
Only ever seen one in Australia. They sent it off site and went back to meshing with jumbo as it was deemed to slow.
Bluespanner they are hard to learn , it’s a different style. When good on it it’s more versatile then a jumbo. I almost consider it remote bolting in some situations lol. Currently it’s my favourite machine to operate , very safe and very powerful. I think it is above jumbo as far as skills required to efficiently operate go.
@@JoryDion Looks quite efficient. Do you think the average bolting production increased (bolts/day)? Do you also use bolting rigs with grouting options?
@@danielqueiroz452 yes bolts per day are dramatically increased, however, if not everyone is on board the struggle is real. (requires maintenance & skills), it is a powerful machine and it can reck itself very quickly with wrong moves or poor operating choices.
I have used ground support with grouting steps, I have been lucky enough to avoid grout for the most part ;).
@@JoryDion Thanks for the answer. I am wondering if I should recommend a Epiroc Boltec E for a large project. And it is helpful to see other tunneling culture.
Que modelo es ?
