thats a myth. marble dust aint toxic or bad for the lungs. its okay. the are far more dangers here. for example the way they cut marble. that finger....arggghhh...
On TikTok I just saw a makeup artist in LA that makes about $1k a day, just doing clients makeup. And each client tips like $50. To paint a face full of chemicals that will be washed away the same night. These men are probably paid less than $50 a week to pump out these products. That will be used for decades. What a world we live in.

Fun fact: wet rock cutting blades generally won't cut skin. I do agree about a N95 mask at minimum for breathing.

Very nice chess sets. Some pieces look to be Staunton, others not. Personally, I would prefer a 100% Staunton compliant set ... ie. tournament standard.

Why is this sloppiness - one square in the chessboard is half dark and half white. Only one! Couldn't you put a good square instead to make the chessboard good?
Amongst the many safety and health concerns… at the beginning, homeboy cutting the small slabs would move his thumb out of the way at the last second… why even take the risk? You could easily make a “pusher” out of wood… I can’t tell if they are stupid or just that good 100% of the time… no lapses in judgment or just off days??

Why are you using your fingers with toxic stone cement. Stone cement is the most toxic of all cements. Alkaline compounds such as lime (calcium oxide) that are corrosive to human tissue. Trace amounts of crystalline silica which is abrasive to the skin and can damage lungs. Trace amounts of chromium that can cause allergic reactions. These guys are absolutely nuts. You use rubber gloves and then you can use your hands all you want. The guy cutting the stones needs ceramic cutting gloves so that he doesn’t cut his fingers off. Don’t tell me that they don’t have enough money to buy a pair of rubber gloves in India. I am not buying that when they are charging hundreds per set they sell. Your Knights are made clumsy. That is the workers fault though. He should have rounded the knights face out. Too square.
