Roger takes a look at the Piscifun Speedy Spooler.
Not sure what it is? Well this is a gadget that helps the line go from the new spool to the spool on your reel without having to deal with line twist or memory.
Roger has tried everything in the past, including running the new spool of line under hot water, letting all your line out behind the boat, having your kid walk out 150 yard or line while you reel back in. Lots of effort put into this problem
The question is, does it work? and is it worth the $50 to eliminate that?
    Come find out.
Thanks for watching and leave comments below with your experience with line twist and memory below. Or if you have tried this or something else that has worked for you.
    Tight Lines! -Roger

Thanks Don. yep i hate to buy gimmick stuff, so i did not buy this for years, but when i used it the first time i realized i should have gotten it a while ago. i spool 10 to 15 reels per season, so this gets it started on the right track. ant ice out you way?

Fluorocarbon seems to be the worst for me Roger. No ice here yet, I checked a local perch pond the other day and until it freezes all the way across, I’ll stay off it. I did hear there is ice a few hours north of here but I’m pretty busy until after Christmas anyways.

In the world of building a better mouse trap, this one works pretty well, I've been using it for a few years, but we do have to consider, in the design of spinning reels, it's the nature of the beast to develop line twist, but that tool really does help.

im glad to hear that you have used this. do you spool up with braided line too, or just mono? Very true, spinning reels spin and the drag sure makes it even spinnyer. but at least it goes on the first time well.

@@RogersRigs I use braid and mono

What happens if you stop short/suddenly? Will the loading spool keep spinning? 🤪

nope it has a little tenseioner that you can adjust to keep it from free spooling
