    Great video! Now some of the new electric Enviro400EVs have started service on the 36, and they are stunning! It's an even better upgrade! Ride quality is even better now and so silent it's like you're gliding along! The new seats now recline, and they are even more luxurious now! You should check the new buses out!

    heya, happy new years, i was on the first public run of the new 36 enviro 400ev's and i can say that (atleast in my opinion) they are some of the best busses in this country, each seat has wireless charging, USB and USB C charging ports, comfy seats (while sadly not leather anymore) arm rests and an amazing interior design. cant wait for you to hopefully test them out in the near future!

    The Stagecoach Gold bus you went on was a Enviro400 MMC which is a newer version of the Enviro400. There are normal Enviro400 MMCs and Stagecoach Gold Enviro400s. The newer MMCs and Stagecoach Gold vehicles tend to be better since the MMCs are newer and the Gold vehicles have a higher spec interior. I personally like the E300 however the ones in my local area are operated by First not Stagecoach, I believe that there are lots of different versions of Enviro300s and the ones in my local area have luggage racks and a slightly higher spec interior. All Wright Streetlite’s are bad in general

    There are buses from Leicester to Derby. From Leicester to Northampton too.
    Do you think there should be one from Leicester to Nottingham? It's a similar distance to the other two routes.
    It would also link the East Midlands' two largest cities.
    Was there ever a service?

      Trentbarton tried it a few years ago. it was done as an express service, and didn't last too long. The rail service is quick and quite cheap. There are coaches too.
      A stopper may work, extending the 9 from Loughborough maybe.

    • @tonyskinner1643
      @tonyskinner1643 17 дней назад +2

      Yep there was, the Northampton service went all the way to Nottingham via Loughborough, it wasn't the X7 then, and ran more like a coach by United Counties

    • @backpack-travels-uk
      @backpack-travels-uk  17 дней назад +1

      You're right, I'm fairly sure the trentbarton route was tried quite recently too. It is a shame but I think the rail connection is just so much quicker and if you want cheaper you can pretty much get a coach from Nat Express for £5.
