Trying Cappuccino Lip Lites from the ‘90s!!!

- This was my favorite lipgloss in the late ‘90s so I found one on eBay and bought it to add to my ‘90s makeup collection (and for the ‘90s nostalgia)! Bonne Bell Cappuccino Lip Lites gloss! Let’s see how well it holds up with a try on test.

This was my FAVORITE lip gloss as a teen! I wore it every day with just a like brown liner 🥹 I *FINALLY* threw out my last one just last month, which I bought the beginning of my senior of hs (c/o 2005) because it was mostly gone and completely separated 😭
Omg, these were my absolute FAVE!! That and the Lip Smackers Vanilla Frosting gloss. I would love to find them again!

That was such an sweet video! I've noticed some of my makeup products have started having a nice, "nostalgia"-esque smell to them again, and it makes me so happy! It's just a little something extra to the experience.
I had all of these in high school and wore them RELIGIOUSLY. The cappuccino and french vanilla were my favs. Line the lips with some black or brown eyeliner, fill with some Lip Lites and you were straight up KILLIN IT in the mid to lates 90s.

I loved these Bonne Bell Lip Lites coffee flavored lip glosses and flip top lipsticks line. I had 3 or 4 of them, and they got heavy rotation of usage. I do think I had the cappuccino one.... pretty sure, well it was a long time ago lol.
Omg I was obsessed with those things! I wore the shade Cherry Berry Kiss religiously. It was the perfect lip gloss! There was one summer when McDonald’s came out with a smoothie called Cherry Berry Chiller and I swear to this day it tasted just like that lip gloss. That summer was a VIBE! I still remember the day I went to Walmart couldn’t find them and realized they were discontinued, I was inconsolable!

Omg I can smell this, my mom always had this in her purse and wore it snd let me try it so it’s such a nostalgic smell for me too!! And it tasted like coffee too right like weird synthetic taste of course lolol but it tasted sweet and like buttery almost. Thank you for blast from the past!!!

Yes they were always that flattish, oval shape! This one and the Strawberry Parfait were my FAVORITE. I also loved the big roll on glosses and I recently found a vanilla one online that had the OG geometric packaging with the purple lid. I just had to open it and it’s honestly the exact same as I remember. Nostalgia is such surreal thing. If I spray Tommy Girl, put on that gloss and a Britney, Alanis, Jewel, or Eminem CD, that’s as close to time travel as it gets! 😂

This reminds me of the first time I wore bare minerals candlelight glow as eyeshadow in 9th grade. A friend innocently commented about it and I felt so insecure I never wore makeup again
MY HOLY GRAIL FROM 2002!!!
I had one of those! I got it on vacation visiting my grandparents with my dad and siblings. Went to the store with my grandma and she let me get it as a treat. I think I was about 13 so it would’ve been 2004.
I do not remember the name of the brand or color 😊but I had one in a similar tube, at age 12. It was such a beautiful mauve color, and I don't think I've ever found as lovely a shade since! Perfect blend of dusty pink and purple.

I used to love collecting lip smackers! I would use them until they got too low and just kept them safe after that! 😂 I found that collection recently!
I too loved slathering lipglosses on to an absurd level of slick. Unfortunately I never got to see these since my mom was on the reserved side and never picked up a color outside of quiet pink, or clear. Anything with a fruit in its name was already bordering on harlotry lolol. Thus I had some Maybelline knock-off of Juicy Tubes, a tutti frutti color and some kind of strawberry/raspberry-named color 🤷♀️ The formula was absolute glue though. My cousin used to say they hated sticky gloss and preferred fruity glosses with a "wet" texture and my childhood brain still yearns for whatever 2000s product that was. If they made Liplites in other colors please enlighten me 😭
OMG I FORGOT ABOUT THIS. I instantly remember the smell 😳 except I was 18 in 2000 and my cross association is the smell of the inside of my first car.
