I honestly can’t stop watching this. Anytime I get a few minutes, I pull my phone out and watch it again! It’s so beautiful and so beautifully shot! Ally, your grace, energy and talent are unmatched. I never knew we needed this song on the bagpipes until now. Now I need every song with you on the bagpipes! I’m so glad I got to see you perform this live in Dallas!

Awesome is an understatement
The late Mihalyi Csikszentmihalyi was a proponent of "flow" which he also called "negentropy." Colloquially, it's "being in The Zone" where time and everything outside of what you're doing falls away. Yeah, I think that applies to Ally playing the pipes. Amazing focus!
My two-year-old grandson is completely enthralled with this video. I told his parents we are going to buy him some bagpipes. 😅

I am an American. I grew up hearing the bagpipes. My southern California high school was Scottish themed. We were the Highlanders. Our fight song was Scotland the Brave played on bagpipes. Some years the Highlander bagpipers were good. My graduating class had the worst bagpipers in human history. Really bad bagpipers make one appreciate a really good bagpiper.
