I was at this Blue Man Group event when they played this. I not only still remember the dude yelling 'Free Bird!' but I remember the timing of the dude with the bell thing in the beginning. I wish they'd kept recording to hear the solo they did on the drums afterwards
@@evanplatt1149 all comedians laugh at their own stuff no matter how much they have it because they can't help it when the audience laughs, the audience laughing causes a chain reaction.
@@josephbennett3482 Well, I mean this video sort of disproves that theory. I've watched this maybe 4 or 5 times now and can watch it without laughing, so assuming they've done this gag easily 100 times, I can see how they can easily keep a straight face.
One of my former drum teachers actually went to audition for Blue Man Group since they have a show in Vegas where we live. Unfortunately, there's a height requirement that you have to be between 5'9 and 6'2 I believe and my drum teacher was like 5'6 so there was a noticeable dip in the line. But he wasn't auditioning to be a Blue Man, but to be one of the session drummers (i.e. the guy who started playing Free Bird).

Exactly how did they all keep a straight face? I lost it once they started staring at the guy and when the dude yelled free bird
It's a running gag. They do it at every show, so by now, it's not funny to them LOL

Because it's one "Hell" of a video. 😉
assim fica uma verdadeira porcaria pois assim a música perde toda a beleza com estas interrupções e a apresentação fica um lixo 👎
