Enjoyed watching the video, though the audio is a little quiet I found. I do not have the rules, but from watching this played on Beasts of War and from seeing the play sheets in your video, a few rule hiccups: when your leaders were wounded or killed, that was also "bad stuff" morale tests. When the Germans lost the machine gun team from the section, that would be bad stuff too, though I believe he could have transfered troops from the rifle team over before it was destroyed, so possibly could have been avoided. From what I gather, even in soft cover, deffender allocates extra hits, I think it is only when in the open that the attacker allocates. Oh, and in the second assault, there was 4 american deaths and one shock, as you guys said... and then forgot, and only took three americans off.
Old video now but I think a few times you bundled the BAR firing into the rifle firing? Important to roll separate colour dice for the BAR as only the Garand rifles can re-roll 1s.
@@tabletopcp Ah, sorry, my bad. We have been going from the semi-auto rule but missed the Master Armoury list. Rich Clarke subsequently confirmed it in their own forums. Something I've learned! :)
@@tabletopcp Can’t decide how we feel about COC. It has a very loyal following and some of that following are highly critical of BA. COC is more complex for sure, not necessarily more historically actuate though IMO. There’s some things that you simply can’t do unless a senior leader is attached to a squad, things that would normally be down to section sergeants to organise. If we needed platoon Lt to organise every minor tactical use of weapons we’d still be fighting WW2. It’s an enjoyable game for sure, but IMO it’s just different, not better.
si O 😄 I get asked that question almost every day it seems. I got them off eBay. They were part of a Conan the barbarian miniatures game kick starter. Don’t know if they sell them anymore.
I am just learning the rules but I notice when you fired squads you rolled dice for everyone in the squad and not just those who had line of sight. Page 32 of the Rules seems to suggest you cannot fire through friendly troops even from the same squad. Have I misunderstood?
Thanks for posting the video. I just purchased a copy of these rules and this is helpful as I work on learning the rules.
Great game I hope you continue with the series
Nice
Glad to see you reaching out into other games
Thanks for the vid gentlemen, can’t wait to get my first game under my belt.

Oh yeh, and where do you get the Base converters for the nco/officers from or what are they?

Cheers for the heads up.
si O if you go onto the CoC Facebook group there are some posts with links to them.
Can’t wait for more CoC!!!
Where are those color markers for around the bases from?
Kristopher Snyder to differentiate different models. Junior leaders, senior leaders, machine guns and such.
Bolt Action CP Where did you get them from?
I would like to know as well
One more level of cover if you are pinned, not sure if you applied that or not, great report though, love CoC

You need to increase the volume
Don't forget thatHE from your Sherman should have pinned the target team.
John Briggs what do you mean John? By number of shock?
Bolt Action figures?
Chris C. Yep.
What are the colored bases for the leaders called and where do you find them?
junkbarbarian got them from an old Conan kickstart off eBay. They are not available any more sadly.
Thanks. Enjoyed the video by the way.
