Great review Jerry! We just bought a 2018 Traverse High Country today, and watching your review earlier this week solidified our decision to choose it over the GMC Acadia Denali. We were able to find a pre-owned 2018 with low mileage, which got its price more similar to the Acadia, and with its increased interior space, it was an easy decision. We LOVE the chocolate brown leather interior.. it is very luxurious! Thanks Jerry for the recommendation and great review!

A year later, would you say it was a good buy, Will? We're thinking about getting a pre-owned 2018 Traverse LT (not High Country).

I wish Jerry would review cars that weren't always the highest trim level. Review what most people would buy and what the manufacturer makes, which is probably the LT level. The problem is that when someone sees the highend models in the video and goes to the dealer to look at one, after the sticker shock of the high end model, they find out the affordable one isn't quite like what they saw in the video.

I hate how you can’t get adaptive cruise control without going all the way to the high country

The front end reminds me of the Chevy uplander when viewed from the side.

Chevy should make automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control standard like the Toyota Highlander. I hate that I’d have to go the top trim high country to get it.

Why aren't there headrest for the second and third row bench seats? Seems like a deal breaker when it comes to safety.

Umm. Actually there isn’t headrests because then you wouldn’t be able to see out of the rear glass cause the accident in the first place

New Traverse is much roomier than Explorer.

it's a shame the Ugliest of the trio became the better looking one.. poor new enclave looks a mess, and the Acadia looks like a plastic after thought

gsxellence The outgoing Enclave looks more classy than the new one coming out and idk what GM is doing with the Acadia.

keri ellerbe I agree I was shocked myself, it seems the new terrain Denali and this traverse high country and red line are the only nice looking models

keri ellerbe yeah the Acadia looks like an afterthought but not priced like one. What a shame, too.

My goodness, the ugly orange interior color for the High Country. I wonder if it will be offered in solid black like the trucks?
