@@Hiltonke7 is it tho? I mean, if you can make them alot more money, then you get a bigger compensation. That's how it works. If I spend more than 200 bucks every time I come, it wouldn't be weird to get a free bottle of champagne that costs 100. Not that much difference.
@@JacobAaron95 The overall whole argument is that people say they are on a payroll and are getting money for saying stuff to compliment the game. There is a difference between getting paid for playing and getting paid to play. That is what people are getting at and that is not the case. This whole situation is just stupid and it just tastes salty because people are literally saying it like that to get it out of context.
To be 100% fair regarding the opening blurb, you're being given premium currency each Chapter, which costs real world dollars. The average player is not. Of course, it's not nearly enough to make any kind of significant impact but you can't really say "They give me absolutely nothing" and "they give me a /handful/ of Auric Cells each Chapter" in the same breath and be totally honest in both lines.

In my opinion: Mettle of Man is a perfectly balanced perk. For the survivor, one free shot. For the killer, you get to see the survivor for the rest of the game. Its an infinite bbq and chilli.

Panda needs to actually use the perk and see how much he benefits from it.
I'm guessing he will get hooked 100% of the time.
Its no problem at all on a survivior who is low to mid ranks and cant rout or loop. Its a big deal on high rank survivors who know looping and routing like the back of there hand. Watch some true talent, noob 3 and scores of other high level players run some, admittadely not the best killers, but yeah run them for 3, 4 or even the 5 gens and some of that is before mom
The point is i can think of really great survivor moments...a very recent one i was wow with, was a dead hard into addrenaline.. granted even if i had got them down theyd have got back up but, that looks stylish and even the most try hard killer main has to respect that play.
MOM, Nooo it's pretty cheap and when there is more than one in play...nahh.
You wouldnt think so highly of a perk killers could use, that would require you to fix 6 gens rather than 5. It's a bit much thinking killer mains should be happy with one that extends their objective.
You've all the tools you need to survive, pallets, windows, flashlights, body blocks, the hatch.
Mom is just another crutch perk, that punishes the killer for doing his job.
It's really not, MoM is essentially like old D-strike except you don't need any skill to actually use it, you just have to be hit 3 times. Billy/Nurse/Spirit don't get affected by that, but the M1 killer, aka the weaker ones, are affected a lot by it existing, because it gives survivors room to find more looping spots. It does nothing to affect the top tier characters, while the mid/bottom tier ones are the ones who struggles the most against it.
@illbekillinu2 well thank you, I apreciate that some civil conversations can take place. I'll be honest I've never considered franklin's to be a toxic perk but that because of my own playstyle and the fact that it rarely comes out. I mean first, I don't care to use it for toolboxes or medkits, only flashlights and thats if i see more than one being brought in. I mean 3 or 4 and I know, someone is looking to make a fool of me. That being said we have better options than franklins. Lightborn is the flashlight solution and now we have infectious fright. If it triggers i know to be wary about picking that survivor up. My point is franklins isn't as useful as either of those.
Anyway, if you want to take items in and you suspect the killer has anti item perks the best solution is to have a hidy place for it.
I know because for fun while experiementing with distressing i wound up doing an anti item build, yes franklins, distressing, overwhelming and unnerving anything i thought at the time would hinder item usage and slow progression in a different way, what did the survivors do. They would leave there items at the gens before running off. Meaning i couldnt knock them out of there hands. They werent using them within my terror radius and in the end, they all escaped and the build was effectively useless. I think i hit only one on the way out, everyone else escaped with their item. So that's what i suggest in the meantime as good common practice.
As for MoM, i ran it once, i don't completely mind it. I can still get kills when its in play, i just dont appreciate survivor mains saying a perk that punishes the killer for doing his job is really balanced its not.
D/s is a brilliant perk and you are using it as you should, i got no issue with it at all now. Its fair and serves a purpose "dont tunnel me" Myself personally, I may try to put you down, coming of the hook if im close enough and it wasnt a safe save but ill go and chase down the rescuer too. This to me is strategy, and meant only to pull other survivors away from their gens to heal you and slow progression.

idk the hate on mettle of man. i love that perk. yeah, it gives a survivor a “second” chance, however, once it’s used up... it’s done. it doesn’t even work on a lot of killers too.
Me neither is use it all the time because killers always camp or tunnel me so i dont even see a prob with the perk rancor is the same as MoM imo.
M1 killers struggle against it (because M1 killers who were already mid/bottom tier definitely needed more perks that makes their job harder!) while top tier killers (Billy/Nurse/Spirit) don't really care. It also takes no skill to actually get value out of, and that second chance is huge for any decent survivor, considering it can help extending chases by a noticeable amount.
@Ranger Clover BBQ requires you to down a survivor, if the survivors are even remotely decent, that's not an easy task. Additionally, they are not even compareable strengthwise, BBQ is easy to counter if you know what you are doing and only Billy/Nurse can take advantage of the aura readings, while all other killers will just get a headsup for the survivor locations they still have to walk to (which, again, is easy to counter by either hiding in a locker, hiding near the killer when they hook, hide behind a gen or walk in one direction then move to the other direction). The only counter to MoM is either being an instadown killer or being the Nurse.
I think it's a bit much that so many people are looking down upon HybridPanda for "being positive for benefits". Sure, I agree with a couple of things people say, but the reason he says so many positive things about the game is in no way because he is a Fog Whisperer. A Prime example to prove this is the Twitch streamer / RUclipsr Puppers. He's a Fog Whisperer, and he is not afraid to outright rant about an in-game issue on stream. And look at him... still a Fog Whisperer.
You say you're out of practice, but you were absolutely devastating. Way further than I'll ever be with the nurse. GG Panda, since the survivors didn't give you one.

In my opinion, the killer being able to close the hatch and patrol gates is the dumbest thing they ever made. And gates usually spawn close to each other so its a gg once the killer closes the hatch. They tried to solve the hatch standoff crap and as always, they gave the killers the advantage since they already had it when they could grab you off the hatch..
and better yet, they gave the killers the chance to slug you and wait until the entity crap kills you and of course its fun:) but when survivors were waiting and tbag at the gates, it was toxic and shit.. its really sad
As long as a battle pass doesn’t create a a pay-to-win system in okay with them being implemented. In general all a battle pass does is create a way for players to earn extra cosmetics that are only available through that battle pass or maybe later on through a weekly or daily purchase rotation. The best part, if you don’t like the battle pass, no one is making you buy it and you can continue play the game as it is now! What a concept.

Why do people STILL try to loop the Nurse??? Her counter play is so basic but, people are trained to play a certain way every time in this game so they do horribly against Killers like the Nurse and the Spirit and insist that they are OP. The only thing that makes Nurse OP is a couple of her Add-Ons. If bEHavior would be willing to take a look at them, the Nurse would be totally fair.

What is the last Survivor supposed to do against Endgame?
As you could see, the Nurse can cover up both gates pretty easy and most other Killers (who are played often - Spirit, Billy, even Legion in the last days) can do that too...plus most of the time the gates spawn "right nextto" eachother on the same wall...
What can you do other than get an Key and still get out by Hatch? you wont get the Gates even with Wake Up...

Camp the gate while waiting for the killer to close the hatch. Or find it first and get out. You have multiple options there and one of them wins you the endgame, so i don’t think there is anything wrong with the current system. If you’re the last survivor left in the game you shouldn’t have an easy time getting away when the whole team got wiped out in let’s say the first 4 minutes. It’d be also unfair to the killer to let the forth potato out too easily like it used to be. If the killer powered the gates and you nowhere near to them, you’re pretty much dead (unless the other gate is across the map) but you probably had a chance to avoid that situation.

Do you think you would remain a fog whisperer for a long time if you said “These decisions are bad for the game, don’t give them money for this”? I feel like the answer is no. So, while I never said nor thought that they are paying you to say nice things or that you were contractually obligated to be positive about everything they do, I am very comfortable saying that your ability to say bad things has decreased significantly because you are a fog whisperer and seem to like being a fog whisperer and seem to want to remain a fog whisperer. Because if you want to remain a fog whisperer, you probably aren’t going to severely criticize the game publicly as the company giving you these perks and amenities would not appreciate that very much and can easily revoke the title that they themselves made up.
Whether or not all the things you say are entirely your own honest thoughts, and for all we know they 100% are, it just seems dishonest to say that you have no incentive not to speak your mind. Whether or not its explicit, whether or not you can ignore it, and whether it affects your decision making or not, I think it’s undeniable that there exists a conflict of interests.

jye1655 Honestly I don't watch True, so I can't confirm or deny whether his tone has or hasn't changed ever since he became a fog whisperer. I'll have to look into him and some of the other fog whisperers before I can comment on that. My only observations for the time being are on Panda, who I feel like has noticeably become more and more forgiving of the devs while shifting more and more of the blame for this game's faults onto the players. Not to say that the devs do everything wrong every time, not to say that the players are blameless in the problems inherent to this game and its community, and once again maybe Panda really has naturally shifted towards these views over time. It just seems like suspicious timing to me and even if it is all natural it doesn't change the fact that there is an incentive to have these beliefs, even if people already well known for their outward negativity like True are able to continue to get away with it (if what you're saying is true. I haven't checked so I can't say.)

I never said it was for the Auric Cells, nor did I ever imply it. I implied that his opinion may be altered by the influence the title itself granted and the physical amenities the title offered (exclusive previews to upcoming content, information unavailable to the public, paid flights and boarding on consulting trips, a much more direct means of interacting with the developers of a game he is passionate about, etc.) Those rewards are worth a lot more than Auric Cells and have tangible value, and I think they have a strong potential to sway an opinion. Which, AGAIN, I am not saying that they have swayed Panda’s opinion. I am just saying they have the POTENTIAL to, and its dishonest of Panda to say otherwise or downplay it to the extent which he has.

an opinion is still an opinion no matter what idc how anyone looks at it and it doesn't have to be facts. a fact is something that's proven or about to be proven. an opinion is something that someone has that they feel like they have seen or what they may believe about that statement. (in this case I believe that the battle pass is bad for DBD. its just more money. etc.) I explained that in the last video you posted panda. so therefore since I believe the battlepass isn't good for DBD its an opinion its not a fact so someone can have an opinion on whatever they believe whether they believe it or have experienced it whatever that may be. you cant tell someone to not have an opinion that's not based on facts look up the word opinion it says its non conclusive meaning its not proven its just the persons thoughts and what they believe whether that something is good or bad. so stop shaming ppl on their opinions.

it was something that was released very early on when the game was released. The only way to obtain the legacy skins was to be a player in DBD back in 2016 when the game launched

Panda help! What's the best way to play killer against survive with friends when they all have like ds, mettle of man, and what not. It's crazy hard and not fun. Any tips on how to play better against it
Don'tbe afraid to be a little toxic. If you see clantags in the lobby, maybe equip an ultra-rare or just take off the meme build. After hooking a survivor, double back to the hook after ~10 seconds to catch the hyper-altruistic survivor out. After downng a survivor either check the area more thoroughly than usual or just leave them to use as bait. Personally Ibring a map offering to a decent map like haddonfield or badham, in hope to cancel out a coldwind offering. Ultimately, play a good killer with good addons and a meta build. But yeah, it isn't fun.
Elliot B it just really sucks cus it means I can only play like 2 of the killers cus if I don't play one I have the best perks on I just get dumpstered. Like I'm only rank 14 killer playing agains a swf of rank 7,9,10, and 5. It's just not fair

That opening was so disingenuous I feel like it was not only pointed at my comment explaining some issues with both you being a "Fog Whisperer" and you also being compensated for your shill efforts for BHVR, but that you are simply ignorant to what a battle pass even is.
So let me elaborate and take the opportunity to challenge your points.
1) That you are not "paid".
This is completely false and you even admitted to it being false in your own statement in which you reveal you are indeed, "paid" in Auric Cells each month in an unknown amount but if I had to hazard a guess its enough to buy every new skin released for that month or several months and may fluctuate depending on whatever stipulations are detailed in the "Fog Whisperer" membership. For those that do not know, Auric Cells are the in-game premium currency which can only be obtained by using real world money. So yes Panda, you are actually on a payroll and are indeed paid.
2) That you can only say "good things" about the game.
Yes, this is true. You go out of your way across your videos to downplay player issues that are brought up or to dismisss them entirely and paint BHVR in a good light. You have done consistently enough that my point holds more water than you would like viewers to believe.
Prime fucking example, which you also touched on, the "Hitboxes". You have many times downplayed player issues calling out the "Hitboxes" as being broken in someway and blame the players LAT for the problems. And now, as it fucking turns out, what did BHVR just fucking admit to? Yeah, that there is animation problems with the "Hitboxes" which is exactly what I have been trying to point out for several months now and now it looks like I was completely correct.
Going back through your library of videos, one would be hard pressed to find one in which you completely dump on something about the game or seem in any way upset with something obvious like, oh I dunno, releasing DLC packs and not even a month later, drastically changing the aspects of that DLC I.E. releasing obviously OP killers, letting the sales die off, then "fixing" (hard nerfing) said killer. Or how about completely changing how DLC content is obtained a month after releasing a DLC (changing how you can obtain the DLC content mostly for free if you just play the game instead of purchasing the DLC outright.) thereby fucking over ev eryone who bought the DLC before the changes were announced? Two issues you also didn't seem to have any issues with...
BUT I DIGRESS.
I mean I can go on, and I probably should, but I won't. Because picking on the willfully ignorant shills is something I could do all day, but i'm not a generally mean person. But if you continue to try and lie to your viewers straight to their faces, best believe you will get called out on that bullshit.

Tiffany Orton nah I’ve been watching for years now even when he was yogscastpanda and I still questioned it. You should always question someone’s potential bias for example he says he gets no payment yet the auric cells are worth money so it is technically a form of payment just not straight up cash. Could this affect his opinion, maybe but I think it would have a minor impact and most of the time bias is unavoidable.
jessling2004 Trust me when I say I trust pretty much no one in this world...especially people on RUclips. But when it comes to panda he just seems like a genuinely nice guy. Not to mention that he has A LOT to say about this game...good and bad. I watch a few others play this and they are ALWAYS pissed off...you can tell they hate the game and they only play it because that’s what brings in views. I can actually see that panda has a good time when he plays...so bias or not I trust his opinions.

The battle pass is still stupid
There is no downside to a battle pass in dbd! It's free stuff why are people complaining?
I think it's more of the idea that players still find the game unbalanced and yet Behavior seems to care more about adding monetization to their (in the words of the community) buggy game. Plus technically the battle pass will only be free if you don't want to be getting cosmetics/bonuses frequently,at least that's my understanding is of the battle pass .
But I don't play dbd so I don't really care. Though I would advise behavior to at least polishing their game up a bit more before pulling a pubg.
@@FEKana the game is buggy but people don't realize that the company has different areas, people who fix bugs are one part of the company, some make cosmetics, some make features (like this one)it's not like there is only one team that does stuff bc that'd be crazy inefficient (watch Panda's previous video on the pass he explains it a lot better than I do)
@@bneisasmiler4942 I don't really care about the pass in the end since I don't play dbd. I just like watching it. But I understand what ya mean. I just kind of agree with the community however as it makes it look like they only care about monetizing their game rather than fixing it. It may not be what they care about,it just looks that way to the average consumer.

Fog whisperers may not getting pay by BHVR at all I have no interest to argue if in game currency or free DLC contents should be considered payment or not.
However, I still see these fog whisperer people defending the crap out of the devs all the time no matter how badly they fuck up their game and disrespect the community and neglect millions of issues. I am not against their new content but just think that the devs are seriously under estimate how freaking horrible the current situation is at the moment.
No offense to your content it self BUT your attitude towards this game and to the community is like a loyal servant of the devs and that is so shameful.
I used to play this game a lot and loved it so much. And now it is dead for me cause of the devs themselves braking the balance and their humble servants forming the toxic community (like fog whisperers (not Panda BTW) D/C and down ranking in their content encouraging that shit to their viewers for example).
Not only this game but the whole idea of game developers treating beloved special players like nobles in the game community is just an unhealthy culture IMAO.

I must say bias != sponsorship. One can be sponsored & objective and non-sponsored & biased. So far I see that since bvhr trip Panda is much ... softer towards the changes being made. I dont think that its sponsorship but I do think that attitude changed significantly over the time period. Probably NDA/DEVs (personal contact) influence. W/e : its just that I see statements that look really biased popping again and again. If its some 'secret knowledge that I cant talk about' - please ... DEV builds are usually just a vague resemblance of later release, for multiple reasons. 'Secret knowledge' from months ago is not worth much at this point.
