Botrk ,guinsoos, wits end, sterak's, mercury treads, kaenic rookern or titanic hydra, and make sure to dodge leo cc and use ur W to decrease the malphite ult, you should have no problem in playing vs this comp, and make sure to take the 10% tenacity in your 3rd rune.
Games like that you just perma sidelane because they are too strong in a group but weak individually. When they send 3+ ppl to stop you just survive and escape and over time your team will get stuff on the other side of the map. If they ever match you with only 1 person you can dive and then get a fuck ton in the sidelane.
I'm master fiddle otp, decided to learn yi this season. Currently have 70% wr with 35 games on second acc with yi in gold 2 (started from silver), avg kda is like 14/6/7. Feels similar to fiddle, you're not making any plays without your ult or/and flash and powerfarm a lot. You can just say I'm smurfing, but I felt I'm dogshit at the game off fiddle Btw really important advice for climbing in jungle is mastering your clear, it wins games. My clear rn is decent but I know for sure it could be 5-8 seconds faster if I train it, i'm just lazy :)

For the Hail Of Blades build: BORK > LDR > I.E > PD > Navori (Boots is mostly Berzerker's but can be defensive depending on playstyle). Going Titanic feels kinda weak for me on some instances so I'd rather go DD than Titanic.
What do you think about navori as third item for Yi? Normally it would give him an extra Q in most fight and his E will never goes on cooldown and still provide a decent amount of damage
@Sinerias what item should I build first against a team of 5 squishies? I always default to BotRK 1st item but I personally don't like building it into champions that don't receive bonus health from their items. I used to build Kraken 1st item into squishies but I heard it got nerfed into the ground and I don't like building weak items since I have a very MinMax focused playstyle. I don't build wits end anymore either for the same reason.
What about going over as cap? With as boots, bork, rageblade you are already close with ult and leathal stacked. With witsend you go over it. Should i just ignore it or bild something else instead?
I just tested in practice. If you go core as boots + Bork + rageblade you have nearly enough as with lethal and rageblade stacked. the best full build damage wise is core + kraken (you can go wits end for a bit less dmg) + IE + LDR (same dmg as other builds against squishies but better against tank). If you want survivability I think hydra is a must, then hullbreaker or steraks. also, depending on game state you can go Titanic or wits end as third item. Haven't tested terminus actually but I think it's overkill as wise
I played yi for the hole last split, but it feeled like its like flip or hart to pull off for me because half of the games I completely conquered the game and 1v9ed, but the other half of the games I couldnt do anything although I made a decent game with only a few little mistakes
What about Crit Master Yi guys? If they are all squishy, what do you build? I feel like the normal dps build is weaker this patch and it is hard to kill ADCs if you are behind - sometimes you even lose 1v1
If behind, crit is even weaker than normal dps one. Against really squishier teams, you can go like, kraken, pd and collector, into ie/ldr or navori's... but honestly, i'd just change the original dps build, instead of botrk 1st, go kraken into rageblade, and titanic... feels smooth either way. If i was reaaaaly fed, and wanted to snowball against squishies, i'd honestly opt for hubris and collector, since this provides me early strenght... but it's up to you and your playstyle bro, anything can be done, even heartsteel tank yi top ahahah
I wonder. Why people use king + guinsoo instead of king + kraken. In the training tool I have rested that the second option gives more damage and dps per second.
Rageblade double auto works wonders with Yi's E. Considering you test on a dummy with 0 armor then kraken will deal 100% of its damage and in general you're dealing "true damage" to a 0 armor target, Try the same builds vs a 70-100 armor target and the difference will be drastic
@@breaker1709 no he won´t if yi is feed he kills u before u can even stun him. for example if yi has lulu, soraka or zilean it is very hard matchup. yi is broken every season

In games where u are equal or he is slightly ahead you will kill him 100% regardless what items you have. I had a game recently vs Volibear. He had 2 tank items(Gauntlet + Visage), i had 2 items(bork + guinsoo). I dodged everything, hes lighting, hes ult and also blocked 1 W. He just AA'ed me. Guess who won? xd
