True- Collectors will pay up when buying live. They can inspect it and don’t have to wait n worry about shipping especially in these times. Beautiful haul… again. 🤩
Jeffrey, I had to laugh when you said “in our early days we would’ve had a field day with this stuff. Wrapping paper for a dollar?” I remember those days when you NEVER paid $5 for Salt& Pepper sets. Has it been only 2 1/2 years? Some very unusual lamps, and what a collection of planters!
What an experience! I have never been to an auction this large! I loved Barb’s mugs with the glitter. Your cake plates and the HA Crinoline dishes were great. Looking forward to the haul video! 👍🏻❤️
The dark emerald green lamps have become highly collected now. Like the beautiful lamp I saw there among all the lamps.

I never seen so much in one place, I would of been overwhelmed. I saw a lot of really pretty things I hadn't seen before. Looks like you guys did pretty well, considering the prices.
Haven’t been to an auction in years. I admit that I am too competitive and end up over paying. Then prices went crazy and I stopped going. I do love the excitement of a good auction and miss the old days.
the excitement of a live auction is very invigorating, but yes you do need to know your limits lol.
I can’t hardly wait for your haul, so many different things in one place, I am glad Barb was able to pickup something for herself as well as for her shop, this was fun for us to watch but I am sure it was a lot for you guys to wait and it being warm and all but your video is a great one Yay Jeffrey Yay!
WOW!!!!!! So much lovely pottery... And a winking owl in the middle of it, for Barb. And the glass is so pretty. The lamps - stunning. I would have been in financial trouble buying too much. lol
What an amazing sale. Some of those lamps, holy cow. You did good! I’ve never seen those sparkling Fireking mugs Barb found-very cool! I collect the jadeite and delphite D-handle Fireking mugs. My best find was at a Goodwill for .89 cents!
they are really fun and I've sold some of the tumblers a year and a half to two years ago. Fire King glamalite is pretty collectible and hard to find.
Wow, what Fun! Wish I had been there, just seeing at that Mc Coy made my heart happy❤️🥰❤️. Can’t wait to see your and Barb’s haul. Considering the beyond high prices for the Pyrex and some Mc Coy planters, you both did 👍.
I was shocked to hear what you said the big white hanging lamp was selling for. Those are planters people drilled holes in and glued beads in. My Dad made a bunch of them one year and gave one to each of his daughters. I still have mine.

Well, I almost fell off my chair at 5:20 when I saw those McCoy pine cone teapots, I want one so bad I can just about taste it. The only one I want more is a brown acorn teapot by McCoy. What's wrong with me, I don't need any more stuff!

I grew up with some of the lamps you admired and I just laughed. Guess it’s because I grew up with them….and then my mom went to early American! Don’t miss that stuff with all the eagles!

Saturday i ended up at a auction. I went to go to a city wide sale an ended up at a auction. My one tip for auctions is make friends with someone that works there. They will tell how it is going to go an if you tell them you want something they may tell you when its coming up. I asked to to look in cases even though they were unlocked i still ask. An because of that i found two antique beaded purses. The lady that i talked to found me an those are coming up an i ended up getting both. So always talk to someone working the sale.
I saw you pick up the foot ashtray Treasure Craft...My studio is called "barefoot studio" so I went on ebay and bought that green one. Thanks for showing me that it was " OUT THERE" in the vintage world
That auction is exactly like the auctions I go to weekly, (not that auction house sells) but the estate auctions. But WOW those planters, depression glass, and everything else, never seen that much of one product at an estate sale, and those prices. Let's see Monday I got 4 good size jewelry boxes for $5, (total), 2 flats if jewelry (costume) for about $5 each. Hope you and Barb had a blast. I'm addicted to these sales.

If you notice the white plastic lamp next to the green lamp. My father made lamps like those, they are a flower pot with colorful beads. He made and sold a lot of them. I had one but I don’t remember what happened to it.

You showed me something I had never seen before now…those mugs Barb bought. Now I want a few too. It gives me something to search for on my ventures. I think the prices at auctions do go higher because of competitive people like I am. When I want, I want! Thankfully I do not really want that often. You did excellent talking about the items and sharing. You purchased some nice lamps. That one lamp with pink would have blended nicely with flamingos.

This is FUN. At least 5 lamps I would have liked to have. You picked some lovely glass. I think the *free form* glass is Sooner Glass. Where would someone even put 200+ pieces of pottery? Yikes. I like when you look at lithographs or paintings, were there none? Thank you for showing us a country auction.

I can’t believe you got the Treasure Craft Hula Dancers, with original stickers, for $3!!!😱 I recently bought just the Hula girl (no sticker) for C$4 and sold her for C$110 + shipping (on Etsy) and she was listed for less than a month.

I made it, it was a long over 6 hours in surgery but the dr is very pleased with the results. I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for the prayer. It meant more to me then you will ever know.
