I suppose we cannot solve our problems with the same Esquire we used when we created them, my friend! XD Thank you for listening and sendingyou many positive vibes!!!
My favorite engineer driving the most unique guitar songs on RUclips. It’s crazy how clean your technique is, but then again you practice on the days that you eat. But the best is how your songs evolve over time 🥂
Thank you for your kind words, my friend and for being along for the ride! The progress is slow, but over time I feel like I've travelled some distance! XD Thank you for listening and sending you many positive vibes!!
Man am I glad I found this. I really like your tone, despite it being distorted you can still the individual detail of each note ringing, your playing is superb, the guitars and tunings are so cool, and the composition is just great. I'm staying here for sure. Cheers
A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a Esquire; what else does a man need to be happy? XD Maybe I can answer all comments on this vid with Einstein quotes! XD Boom is usa-ism imprinted on me by John Madden. Language is definitely fun! All credit to @rabendranath for the excellent title. How's your 2025 so far, my friend!
@@elhierofanteok Thank you, my friend! While I ended up playing something other than I intended, I don;t exactly feel like it was a mistake or something bad. There are these moments that happen where I can lose the plot of what I am playing and I have tried to practice playing my way our of it just so that it doesn't derail the rest of what is going on. WAWDWCBD has going for it the fact that it has basically the same picking rhythm throughout the whole song so if I get lost, I can just focus on keeping the picking steady while I try to figure out what to do with my fretting hand. For me, the weirder feeling is being mentally checked out when I'm trying to play because my brain is too wiped or distracted. I still feel it's important to play in these conditions. For me anyway, it can really help straighten out my head....
@@cyruspirehMy best/most creative solos always are when I’m not trying. It’s weird, like my subconscious comes out while I’m daydreaming. Totally get that
Thank you, my friend! Excellent question! These are songs I had worked up as solo guitar pieces, so probably no plans for further instrumentation. I've got other things in the works, though! XD Thank you for listening and a Happy 2025 to you!!
I always love the first song you play as part of the opening sequence! That is the song that I first heard of yours and it immediately drew me in from the first time through the series of patterns. It gets stuck in your brainhole so hard... I can only imagine how much stronger it worms its way in when you are physically manifesting the sounds during the 10-20mins of its typical performance! Your forearms would be reverberating with the memory of the song 1000x as hard as your cochleas and synapses are having the aftershocks. P.S. - I really love the calm bridge section of the song that starts around ruclips.net/video/n2qK1L2Lm60/видео.htmlsi=d0fX9C3k0nyeGXlJ&t=574 - it is such a fun contrast to the other colors of the song
Thank you so much for your kind words, my friend! WAWDWCBD is definitely part of me at this point! XD I go through periods of time where parts of it start to feel or look weird while I'm playing and I need to just ease focus and try to stay relaxed. I also really like that harmonics section. It is one that I was working on more intently maybe 3 or 4 months ago. Lately I've been trying to lock down the section that comes right before it. Thank you for listening, my friend and sending you many positive vibes!!!!
So creative and cool. Love reading more about what was compelling your playing in the description. It’s amazing what certain experiences and emotions will lead you to musically. Especially if you have the mind and self discipline to synthesize technique and imagination. You’ve got it oozing! Love it and keep it up
Right on, my friend! Thank you for reading!! I am learning how to better express my thoughts and feelings about playing in words. Slowly I am getting there!! Thank you also for your kind words and for listening. Sending you many positive vibes!!!
You're welcome, my friend!!! I try to keep the 9 Strings in B Baritone so from low to high the strings are B eE aA dD F#F#. The Future Lute is the same tuning an octave higher. The rest of the guitars I like to have tuned down a whole step to D. so D G C F A. Though take it all with a grain of salt because I usually just tune the guitars to themselves so they can drift a bit! XD Thank you for listening and sending you many positive vibes!!
Hey Cyrus! Great work as always. I was just wondering if you had any sort of sheet music and/or tablature for your songs What Are We Doing What Could Be Done? and Thank You, Guitar? I was just poking around your site and couldn't seem to find anything of the sort, but I wanted to ask. Cheers!
Ahhh excellent question, my friend! I do not as of yet. I am hoping to notate Thank You, Guitar at some point. The most excellent @nostalgiacassettecity made a transcription of Sheep Graze: www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/cyrus-pireh-sheep-graze-tab-s623721 I have some definite notation plans for 2025, so please stay tuned! Practice I guess, my friend! When I was working more specifically on tremolo picking a while back a side effect was building up this kind of focus endurance. Thank you for listening, my friend!!!
Strive not to be a success but rather to be of Esquire XD .... ... Available now! Thank You, Guitar Pedal: 4gre.org/pedal
Watching that strumming hand go when playing the 1st song on the Esquire is hypnotic
Thank you, my friend!!! I am glad you dig!!!! Thank you for listening and sending you many positive vibes!!

ESQUIRE to ring in the new year! Do you have plans to have a full band accompaniment to either song or are they as they will be? Happy new year Cyrus!
