When an intergalactic transport ship crashes on a remote desert planet with no sign of help on the horizon, the survivors, led by Fry (Radha Mitchell), band together to find a way back home. Among the passengers is Riddick (Vin Diesel), a convicted murderer being transported by marshal Johns (Cole Hauser) - and now freed of his chains and on the loose. But as a solar eclipse plunges the planet into total darkness, a threat even worse than Riddick reveals itself, and the last humans standing may have to form an uneasy truce with the cunning fugitive (whose eyes have been surgically altered to see in the dark) to last the long night.

I remember seeing this movie in a theater with my dad. I loved it. Owned the DVD, then the Blu Ray...never expected a 4K but getting one for the 20th anniversary is AMAZING news.
Thank you Arrow, I hope this sells like hot-cakes and that you continue to release as many new titles as possible in 4K.

@@zacharyjochumsen9677 It came out in February of 2000 and I turned 8 that June.
I was always a big fan of scary movies as a kid. I was watching stuff like Bride of Chucky when it came out to rent on VHS from blockbuster. When I was 10-13 I had all of the Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Child's Play films on DVD.
Growing up I always just closed my eyes or didn't watch during "certain parts" but once I git a little older obviously I watched them unsupervised.
Arrow 4k uhd debut in uk! Very excited about this and what they bring to this format in near future!

I still would love a blu ray ed of lucio fulci four of the apocalypse and dark city necronomicon book of the dead the guyver 2 judge dredd demolition man cobra and some others but yay i love pitch black i have the trilogy

Amen. If Arrow can move into that realm, Criterion has no excuse not too.
Between THIS and the Arrow Gamera set absolutely curb-stomping the Criterion Godzilla set....and the fact that Arrow has been landing titles much more to my liking(Robocop, Gamera, Pitch Black) than the more artsy and much older vintage titles Criterion usually goes for.....Arrow is easily my go-to choice now.
